Never want anyone to go through the stress we did ... avoid SA relocations!!!!!
We used these to relocate our home goods and pet to the UK. The initial service was amazing. But it went downhill the moment our personal belongings were driven out of the driveway! During the riots in SA, we had no idea where our stuff was and got no replies. We were told we would fit into a 20 foot container only to much later find that we needed to have a 20 foot plus share another container. They never communicated effectively, we keep having additional costing come through and we never received any empathy. They split the goods for the shared container themselves (even though we asked them to let us choose which they promised to do).... we ended up only receiving half a dining room table, half a trampoline etc. in our first load. Horrific! We also relocated our labrador - and while they were better in this front, we struggled on the invoicing side as they kept changing prices and making excuses ... including clearance fees which sounded exorbitant. When I queried the rate, I was told it was foreign currency (which translated to 27: 1 .. then the story evolved and there was also bank and admin fees of R2000). Never ending stress and us having to fight. The stress was unimaginable ... and their lack of care was beyond anything I have ever experienced. You end up also paying more! I never want anyone to go through what we did .... recommend you using a more reputable company and paying extra at the time. You know what you are in for, they manage expectations and they will not make a stressful experience that much more stressful than it ever needed to be!! You also end up paying WAY more than they quote you on. There is nothing in me that would ever recommend their services!

Devastated by shocking service! Wish we had used someone more professional and deserving.
Really frustrated and disappointed by Sundero Pools and wanted to flag this so that nobody has to go through what we have!!! :( When we first got Vaughan in - he managed expectations and his service was great. We were told that the pool would take 3 days (this was September and we are now in November!). At the beginning, the team seemed to do a great job (it was delayed due mid way through to an issue with someone having an accident on their way home- which we only were notified about when we chased about no progress being made) ... but from there, it went downhill. We had got Sundero in to re-marbelite out pool and cover in a small section. This had all started as when we bought the house, we had a leak which Vaughan thought would be resolved by us re-marbeliting. It was small leak- just big enough for us to know it was not evaporation! When they finally finished up and we started filling the pool, we were really relieved - only to wake up the day after we had filled it, to the pool having dropped by almost half. When my husband raised this with Vaughan, he made excuses how this had to do with the drain at the bottom of the pool and it was the previous owner's fault and they were never to know. I reiterate - we knew we had a SMALL leak before we started any work on the pool.... but literally overnight after they "fixed" the pool, half the water was gone!! We have now had to fill the pool TWICE. And he is full of excuses. We still have a LED light that we had to chase to be installed but apparently it needs a different connection - but Vaughan is off sick or will be there and does not arrive or we have to continuously chase for updates. We now even have cracks surfacing on the stairs which are apparently "drying cracks"! Have never heard of a new pool already having cracks! And his quotes are so high level that you do not know what you are getting so be careful. When my husband asked him to fill in the section that we wanted to close in, he stated this was not part of his service and then he literally just dumped rubble (blocks of cement) into the section as a favour to us- and we had to then spend money getting someone to come in and chip them down so that we could lay grass and even it out! We are absolutely devastated and this has caused us a huge amount of stress and has cost a fortune!! I love supporting small businesses but I will do my research going forward and ensure we support the ones who deserve our business! Certainly never want anyone to go through what we have!
