Avoided at all costs, otherwise he will cost you more without even warning you
Vaughn talks the talk, but when he has your money you will not get a good thing from him again. He speaks to his workers in such a disgusting way, I was so embarrassed when he was yelling Edward on the phone so loud I could hear him from meters away. The pool cleaner he supplied is faulty and he refuses to do anything about it until I pay him what he now (5 months later) says I owe him for work he did me "as a favour" (I never asked for any favours, I asked for a quote, I accepted his quote and now he says I owe him more money) and therefore refuses to do anything until I pay the extra he is claiming. He left rubble that I had to pay to get removed. He didn't even supply the correct colour tile I asked for, but I decided to let it go as it would cost him too much to rectify it. I even tried to meet him half way on these apparent costs, but he insists all or nothing, without understanding that if you do work without a client's approval, then you cannot expect the client to just pay up what you think, after the fact?! He has become arrogant, rude, plain nasty, and has completely forgotten that I am a client that paid what I was asked to pay on the same day it was invoiced without a single argument. I have never in my life been treated so badly and I am going to make sure as many people as possible know to avoid him. Do NOT be conned by his friendly attitude, it is a front, and he is rude and unethical. How he is still in business amazes me.

Unscrupulous pool installer
What a nice gentleman Mr Le Roux proves to be - charming and very understanding. You pay your deposit and the incremental payments to get your job done - having to chase regularly. Phone calls ignored, texts go unanswered. When you get hold of him he's making promises that never even get honored. Had my pool installed about 12 months before having issues with the solar and the filter system. What a nightmare to get hold of Vaughn!!! I've chatted to him a few times when he did answer...coming tomorrow, transport issues, getting parts and get back to you - an absolutely false sense of hope. Definitely not a supplier or installer i would recommend at all. Great with promises but once you've paid.....forget it!

What a pleasure doing business
Thank you very much Sundero pools for doing such a wonderful job on time and its more than what We envisioned looking forward to swimming. Just so knowledgeable and the insight that you gave us with the suggestions has made our pool dream more that a reality.

Excellent service, communication between both parties is key. I had did research and had lots of questions was uneasy at first, Mr Vaugh came in with good reference from a friend he had exceeded my expectations. He kept his commitments was always punctual. I am extremely happy with the concrete pool and service by Sundero Pools.

Devastated by shocking service! Wish we had used someone more professional and deserving.
Really frustrated and disappointed by Sundero Pools and wanted to flag this so that nobody has to go through what we have!!! :( When we first got Vaughan in - he managed expectations and his service was great. We were told that the pool would take 3 days (this was September and we are now in November!). At the beginning, the team seemed to do a great job (it was delayed due mid way through to an issue with someone having an accident on their way home- which we only were notified about when we chased about no progress being made) ... but from there, it went downhill. We had got Sundero in to re-marbelite out pool and cover in a small section. This had all started as when we bought the house, we had a leak which Vaughan thought would be resolved by us re-marbeliting. It was small leak- just big enough for us to know it was not evaporation! When they finally finished up and we started filling the pool, we were really relieved - only to wake up the day after we had filled it, to the pool having dropped by almost half. When my husband raised this with Vaughan, he made excuses how this had to do with the drain at the bottom of the pool and it was the previous owner's fault and they were never to know. I reiterate - we knew we had a SMALL leak before we started any work on the pool.... but literally overnight after they "fixed" the pool, half the water was gone!! We have now had to fill the pool TWICE. And he is full of excuses. We still have a LED light that we had to chase to be installed but apparently it needs a different connection - but Vaughan is off sick or will be there and does not arrive or we have to continuously chase for updates. We now even have cracks surfacing on the stairs which are apparently "drying cracks"! Have never heard of a new pool already having cracks! And his quotes are so high level that you do not know what you are getting so be careful. When my husband asked him to fill in the section that we wanted to close in, he stated this was not part of his service and then he literally just dumped rubble (blocks of cement) into the section as a favour to us- and we had to then spend money getting someone to come in and chip them down so that we could lay grass and even it out! We are absolutely devastated and this has caused us a huge amount of stress and has cost a fortune!! I love supporting small businesses but I will do my research going forward and ensure we support the ones who deserve our business! Certainly never want anyone to go through what we have!

Sundero Pool not honouring warranty and his address
Like with all of you, I have also been robbed by this guy. I would like to share his address for those that want to face him, 23 Jakaranda Street, Brackendowns, Alberton. I have crack in my marbelite after he did it 6 months before, but he refuses. Perhaps some of you may be able to get him to refund the money he stole.
