STATEMENT BY NABSI (PTY) LTD NABSI AUTO SPARES traded under the umbrella of NABSI (PTY) LTD but was at all relevant times hereto exclusively owned and operated by Jermaine Herman and Rommela Herman. NABSI AUTO SPARES misrepresented its affiliation with NABSI (PTY) LTD in that it made out that NABSI (PTY) LTD was the controlling body and that the sole director of NABSI (PTY) LTD had knowledge of and consented to, the day to day running of the business known as NABSI AUTO SPARES. This was never the case. NABSI (PTY) LTD never entered into nor conducted itself in the automotive industry on any level, it being in respect of spares (new or used) and/or related motor vehicle business, nor did the sole director of NABSI (PTY) LTD ever enter into negotiations and/or discussions with any clients in respect of the business of NABSI AUTO SPARES. It has now come to the attention of NABSI (PTY) LTD that Jermaine Herman and/or Rommela Herman trading as NABSI AUTO SPARES operated a fraudulent scheme whereby they either sold and/or distributed incorrect motor vehicle spare parts alternatively accepted money without providing any motor vehicle spare parts. NABSI (PTY) LTD state emphatically that it had no knowledge of, nor did it accept any orders or money in regards to the business of NABSI AUTO SPARES, and as a result it cannot accept any liability for any fraud and/or theft committed by Jermaine Herman and/or Rommela Herman trading as NABSI AUTO SPARES.
