I ordered and paid for a new LTE Router on 4/11/2020 and changed LTE provider from Telkom to MTN at a better data price and to get more data. Since 4/11/2020 I have called many times to enquire when my new MTN sim and router will arrive. The order tracking service online stills displays that the MTN LTE service is active, but nothing dispatched. I have spent more than 1hr53min56sec on calls from my cell since the beginning of the month and logged online queries. Last night the current service stopped, and I have no connectivity. I pay all my MWEB accounts monthly on time and have been a loyal customer for years!
Was fine until we got the set menu bill for stuff we didn't eat.
I'm disappointed with the process to change LTE provider from Cell C to Telkom. Essentially Cell C LTE comes to an end on 30 November and Mweb has not come through on delivering new LTE Sim required from 1 December 2019. Mweb promises that they changed the RICA address at the courier company facilitating the Sim delivery but it hasn't happened yet. I have had to make numerous follow up calls to Mweb and the couriers without any success. I had to have the new Sim in hand by tomorrow because of work constraints but it is unlikely. The change has been a problem from when I placed the order to change about two weeks ago - Mweb didn't process the order due to a system fault causing the time problem. The result is no connectivity for the next week and a half.
