Food was bland even after asking if it is recommended and then owner does not take well to criticism, instead of reflecting they lash back and try and defend themselves.

Great food, only to find out they charge R100 corkage fee....we have been going there many times and this is ridicules. What makes it worse when this was taken up with the owner we were told to not bring our own wine the next time - well Mark there will be no next time.

With Clarens town being on their own timeline purely because it is such a small town, some restaurants are only open specific days and for specific times. Make sure to book a spot at Clementines. For a fine dining experience that seems only real on TV, this is definitely a must go. The food is precisely plated on your dish, it looks so beautiful that you don't even want to eat it. Then you taste it, and it is magic. For the fine diners out there, treat yourself to a meal at this restaurant.

The tastiest food I had from a restaurant In a LONG time! The service however from the waitress was not up to standard, very rude. When I asked for chips in stead of wedges she turned around and walked away. When my food came I had only received chips and no veggies. But the food 5 star AMAZING!!!

My wife and I had the privilege to experience the outstanding service and food of Clementines Restaurant twice. Today we had a brief moment to meet Shelley Horton (owner) and it was one of those encounters that one will reflect on afterwards. We could experience the sympathy/passion for abused animals, the great relationship with her employees, the love for children and her massive effort with other Clarens small businesses to keep Clarens sustainable. Shelley we salute you! I will encourage anyone to support this restaurant, since your contribution will go beyond Clementines' bank account, and make a difference in the Clarens community. May God bless and keep you.
