Magical mountain villa
We loved our stay at Gondwana, Mountain Ridge villa. Although a small reserve the long and open views were magical. The villa is vast, beautiful rooms, outdoor shower and super boma. Very well-equipped with generous stores of tea/coffee etc. The meals at Kwena lodge were excellent. Hats off that they have program to eliminate the invasive black wattle. However, it is still very bad. Hope they can overcome this.

Wonderful wines and service. Pity about the alien vegetation upsetting the views!

Fun and friendly winery, with fynbos garden.
This is a friendly and fun winery. It has a relaxed atmosphere with large outdoor area where children can run and play. The Sunday lunch was great, wonderful free-range chicken and four salads. And we enjoyed the wine. Added plus: the indigenous fynbos garden! Please keep this up and add to it.

Lovely spot but sadly garden a bit sterile looking.
Stunning spot, wonderful cuisine but sadly the environs look more like France than South Africa. No fynbos. Would be great to see our glorious proteas, leucodendrons, leuco*****ums, metalasias, some bird life will appear! Also, no one to greet or offer you a table as you walk in. Otherwise, good, lovely to sit in the garden and look at the mountain in a sunny spot. Enjoyed.

Fresh Fish to Your Home - what a pleasure!
Fabulous fresh fish delivered to your doorstep. He is always honest about what is fresh or not. We have have wonderful kabeljou, prawns and salmon. You put in an order and along he timeously arrives.

A building company to recommend
The building industry does not have a good name. There are always problems. And mostly these are not adequately resolved. Previous builders I've had, ended up leaving site and never returning. Their workmanship being very shoddy. Graham from Vision Homes is always quick to return, even a year later, to fix a problem which may have arisen. This is most unusual and makes them a company to recommend.

DSTV - Nightmare
Dstv ruins all my holidays. They cut off holiday decoders whenever they feel like it. The one with a PVR usually requires three or four calls to get it going properly, only to find in a couple of days they cut the PVR function. Guests in my rented flat go crazy with me thinking I've switched it off! The 'Amount to pay' that is on the answering service is always some ridiculous amount and date.

Customer service is NOT a service. It's a NIGHTMARE!
What a nightmare Vodacome Custormer service is. Hardly a service but a real trial! the stock answer is we can't talk to you because you aren't the account holder. Never mind they blocked the account holders incoming and outgoing calls when my husband finally managed to get his roaming back. They removed this when upgraded his package. He was advised to go for this and it was endless nightmare. they calls centre absolutely unhelpful. Only person worth their salt is Ernst at theBroadacres Vodashop.

Untrustworthy director/owner
I've not had experience with his building projects but he offered to buy my house and another in the area, failed to pay the deposit without any explanation, never answered calls or emails. In short, he disappeared and is not a man of his word. I wouldn't trust his company.
