Reading the two previous reviews and would like to confirm that I am also experiencing the same problems with the Canadian Embassy and their Agency, IRCC, that processes all visa applications. My situation is that I submitted my family visitor's application on 9 October 2024 to visit my sister in June 2025, whom I haven't seen in some 30 years and due to our age will not have the opportunity to do so any later. My inquiries to find out the processing timeline increased from around 100 days to the current notification of 530 days, staggering!! The embassy, nor the agency are not accesible by phone when the matter has anything to do with Visas and only refer one to their website for answers that are not at all helpful. I has given up hope of ever seeing my sister again and demanded a refund of my wasted costs of the Visa fee, Biometric cost and my travel from my home in Mossel Bay to Cape Town, totaling R3411.20, which despite three email requests, they simply ignore.
After one year from the installment of their Solar System, I moved Home and had to get an Electrical clearance certificate which proved extremely faulty, as Jnr de Villiers himself promised on numerous occasions to rectify, he did not call but agreed that he would pay the cost of rectification amounting to R9022.00. He failed and I was forced to pay to get my home sold. To date, some six months later, he has failed to refund me despite his numerous promises to do so. The man cannot be trusted, and his workmanship lacks compliance which can cause irreparable damage and danger to the Homeowner.
