On day 15 June 2020, i went to SARS for my tax affairs and only came to find upon investigation that my employer did not submit my 2019 Irp5. When I called the HR department (DOD, NAVY in particular). I came to find that SITA has not printed 2019 IRP5s, so to me it brings to question as to how will an employee do his/her tax returns without the employer having not submitted his/her IRP5. At approximately 0945 this morning, day 11 June 2020, i visited the kuilsriver branch in the western cape to try and renew my vehicle license in line with the country's regulations as initially I went to the municipal offices which is a stone's throw away from the said post office (100 meters). Wherein I can confirm that I physically witnesses masses of people mustered outside in the torrential rain, and the gate was locked without a gate sentry on sight. That is when I proceed to the post office as an alternative option, only to be told by the branch manager who stated that they were not equipped to do such a transaction as they haven't received the specialized equipment to perform such as transaction of vehicle license renewal. She further more confirmed that only in the western cape province wherein citizens cannot renew licenses at the post office. To me it is a very deeply concerning issue and would like someone to look into this as it does not make sense, as the post office in question is a very big one, fully manned, right in the middle of town and yet it cannot facilitate such a simple transaction and in turn it would actually ease the burden placed on the said municipal offices. It would be nice to get some sort of feedback regarding this matter. Regards Mr T Chiloane
Has anyone ever noticed as to how data and airtime seems to be going by very fast, today I had to recharge twice in a space of 5min, and this billing seems to be of varying degrees more especially at this time of recess or should I rather say covid19 pandemic. May someone look into why my data and airtime charges are so high because as of late, one can't even plan on thier data and airtime utilization as things clearly have changed and we as consumers aren't informed of such changes and yet of late we seem to be consuming Alot on airtime and data, but for some of us, we rarely use either of the two....i only use them when u need them. I have been trying to create a login profile for myself in order for me to keep track of my credit affairs and in filling out the online form I came to find that there already exists a profile set up for me. When I asked for a password reset, the form does not recognize the email address that was used to create the login, and mind you this is happening at a time where I need to see my credit scoring as I am in the process of purchasing property but I keep getting capped by banks all because of my credit report, which I know is clean as I do not have debts. It makes me wonder as to who created that profile as I am a first time user to the Trans union portal, but my credentials are already on thier system ito of login credentials, to me this only smells of only one thing, someone or some company used my credentials without my permission and they are making my credit bad by tarnishing my good honest name. I need this matter looked into as a matter of urgency as I know for a fact that my account has been hacked and being used for shaddy dealings that I know nothing of. Regards Mr T Chiloane
I am middle income African government employee who is a permanent resident in the western cape for the past 15 years and my business besides being a government employee is acquiring property. What has recently transpired is that I suspect that I am being capped and always being declined for credit services in the form of a bond lately. I am a law abiding citizen that doesn't have debt, the only debt that I have is the properties that I have which are diversified and they pay for themselves, but to my surprise at every time that I try to purchase property here in the western cape.... More especially cape town, Standard Bank is always the first one to decline me for matters that don't concern them. For instance, I am currently in the process of purchasing a farm privately from an owner and have already entered an a purchase agreement. But to my surprise standard bank sent me a declined letter sighting a court judgment of which I have handed over the supporting documents to the estate agent as proof of the matter and yet still they are forcing me to prove thing s to them that have absolutely nothing to do with them as this is a private matter. To me this whole thing smells of discrimination as the type of property and the price bracket thereof is in access of R 1 million. To my dismay is that, colored and white citizens are able to purchase properties in access of the amount stated by most of us aspiring entrepreneurs more especially African in the middle income sector get capped from purchasing property in that segment and yet agents (including managing agents) are able to trade in property in the same bracket and there is a open market for such properties, but I always get declined sighting petty issues. So it clearly means that certain property is only meant for a select few and not the rest of the masses residing in The City of Cape Town and that Standard Bank is only looking into financing bond application for that price bracket for preferred clients and not on the merit of individual cases.
At approx 0001 on date 10 June 2020 my alarm went off on its own and adt monitoring agent called to check if everything is OK on the premises and I stated that I am still investigating, with that said the agent sent out a patrol vehicle to my premises,of which I can confirm that the patrol vehicle did arrive to investigate the outer premises of my yard whilst I did the inside and found no foul play. The interesting and yet surprising thing is that immediately after the vehicle left and I reactivated the alarm system at approx 0019, the alarm went off on its own yet again, the only difference this time now is that I called in the monitoring center to establish exactly which location in the alarm is causing the alarm to go off and the monitoring agent stated that it was in one of the zones that I constantly complain about on numerous occasions and have had technicians come "fix" the problems on over three occasions and even went to the extent of rewiring the system over again and the work is still under warranty but to my dismay, it is the same zones yet again that are supposedly causing the alarm to go off. My guess in this whole debacle is that someone is fidgeting with my alarm system remotely, because the alarm keeps going off at the same random times in the early part of the morning. It tells me that my house is being targeted because it makes no sense that I keep complaining about an alarm only going off at the early hours of the morning but never at any other time in the day. It states to me that someone within the ADT Security Company Technical Division seems to be doing thier own things when people are sleeping more especially now when house burglaries are on the rise in my neighborhood.
For some odd reason I have been calling the municipal offices to try and get some assistance with the water meter that they fitted to the already existing old school meter that came with my property when I bought it. What I have been complaining about is the inconsistencies of the rates and taxes that have been levied on me as an owner as the figures are always estimated and not true actual readings.... And when I query that, whoever that answers the calls in most cases they sell you lies by telling you that they will send out someone and that never happens and even when you ask for a reference number, they hang up on you before you get one... When you follow up on the call, you start the process all over again to no avail. I suspect that the municipality is remotely toying with my water pressure, but they bill me exorbitant amounts in water usage and I stay in a household of just two adults and an infants. But one finds himself paying in excess of R1000. 00 almost every month, only now since lockdown am I really getting a true reflection of my usage and amazingly my usage has dropped drastically. Someone needs to audit the municipal offices of City of Cape Town because I suspect that they are cooking the books and residents bear the brunt of thier greed.
On day 29 May 2020 at approx 0321 whilst watching, the alarm started malfunctioning... Initially it started with the pin pad beeping alarm going off at random and then rapidly in close succession and then ultimately causing the house alarm to go off constantly. No matter the many successions me and my wife tried to cancel the alarm, it just kept reseting on its own then go off again. The is surprising more especially this all is happening right after I cancelled my subscription with the service provider two days ago for incompetent service. Also to my amazement, the monitoring center is reporting that the alarm activation was caused by a panic alarm.... How can a panic alarm go off when I was physically sitting watching TV. So there is no other answer except for the fact that the system is being manipulated by someone sitting somewhere remotely targeting the house as this incident has never ever happened before since I've stayed in this house. Now I fear for me and my family's life as clearly someone is trying to monitor our movements in the house otherwise why is my alarm always going off always at morning hours and I have reported this matter to the company numerous times and nothing is being done about it. Must the house be broken into or someone die first before the company does right by thier customers?
My banking application has stopped working all of a sudden, sighting incorrect credentials after I've entered my pin.... The same pin I've used since the inception of the banking app, now all of a sudden yesterday afternoon whilst attempting to purchase airtime as I had an emergency to attend to and had no airtime. My application refuses to take my credentials.... Like really now, why must I always have problems with this bank, why must a client struggle so much with such petty things.
I monitor my home's water usage constantly and of late since the level 4 lockdown kicked into effect... I've noted that my taps have started leaking including noting a foul smell coming from both toilets in my house, after really looking into the toilets matter.... I then realized that the municipality actually lowered the water pressure as before the lockdown came into effect.... My house water pressure was normal and now all of a sudden the pressure has changed and yet my rates and taxes are always exorbitant for a household of just two people. Am I suffering as a result of not being on a prepaid meter? I ask myself
