Transunion Credit Bureau

I am subscribed to TrueCredit on a monthly basis. However, I cannot access any of the benefits, including credit alerts, credit score, or credit report. Why am I paying for a service I cannot use? I attempted to contact TransUnion through the support option on the website, but the system appears to be glitching and does not allow me to proceed. In addition, I submitted a dispute regarding my marital status. I am not married, yet TransUnion has recorded me as married. The dispute summary states that the issue has been resolved, but this is incorrect. My profile still reflects that I am married.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding unauthorised deductions made by TransUnion from my account. Since 2021, TransUnion has been deducting R99 every month without my consent or approval. At no point did I agree to the “evergreen contract” that TransUnion claims I am bound to. I have never signed, accepted, or authorised such an agreement. I have repeatedly contacted TransUnion to dispute these deductions. Each time, I am promised a call-back or a resolution, but no one has ever returned my calls or resolved the matter. This ongoing lack of accountability has caused significant frustration and financial harm. It is extremely concerning that a company entrusted with protecting consumers’ financial information and safeguarding their interests is behaving in a manner that resembles the very ***** they are meant to prevent. Deducting money from a consumer’s account without consent is unacceptable, *********, and a clear violation of consumer rights. It is no different from the unauthorised debit orders executed by *****ulent companies that exploit South Africans daily. TransUnion’s conduct in this matter is not only disappointing — it constitutes *****ulent behaviour. I expect this issue to be investigated urgently, the unauthorised account to be cancelled immediately, and all funds deducted without my consent since 2021 to be refunded.

Good day all Transunion should not allow insurance companies to list people on ITC this is totally unacceptable because i paid MTN and their insurance is busy debiting me even after the contract was canceled and to add more worse MTN is not responding to emails and calls i spend over 1000 on petrol and calls to sort the problem even their call center is not responding. I wrote emails to Transunion regarding this unfair treatment and listing by MTN insurance i don't owe them now i can't buy a car because of R29 listed by MTN and they refuse to remove my name for their own mistake. Transunion stop listing people for insurance this is not credit but insurance. My life ia stuck because of arrogance of MTN refusing to comply Kind regards Moratwe Lucky Ramontsha

Very poor service from TransUnion. I have submitted paid-up letters via email requesting my credit profile to be updated, yet my emails are being ignored and no feedback has been provided. Incorrect information remains on my credit report, negatively impacting me financially. A credit bureau should ensure accurate reporting, but TransUnion is failing to communicate or action valid documentation.

I sent a court order in January requesting the removal of my debt review flag. Recently, my debt counsellor issued a clearance certificate, which I also forwarded to TransUnion via email. Despite providing these official documents, my debt review flag is still active on my credit record. This is unacceptable, as it is affecting my financial reputation and causing unnecessary stress. TransUnion is failing in its duty to maintain accurate credit records. I am publicly exposing this and calling on them to remove my debt review flag immediately
