I have used Auto and General since buying my car in 2015 but the service I received after my car was broken into on the 29th of July has made me seriously question continuing using them. My car was broken into and the casing of my steering column ripped up to hot wire the ignition. The thieves stole my car radio and speakers. I reported this with A&G and they had the car towed away on the day of the break in to their assessment yard. I would not hear anything from A&G until I filed the claim on the mobile app on the 5th of August - this despite having spoken to the claims department the week before. Since then I inquired telephonically multiple times as to the status of my claim. Each time I called an A&G employee attempted to transfer me to Vashini Rose my claims consultant and each time was unable to do so. Upon being unable to do so I was promised that she would would get back to me before the end of day. This promise was never honoured. It was not until I demanded to speak to Vashini's supervisor that I was contacted by Vashini and updated on the status of my car. This was on the 23rd of August a month after the break-in. I was told I would be contacted regarding the towing of my car within 48 hours. Again this promise was not honoured. Finally, when I enquired regarding the towing of my car on the 27th of August I was told be Vashini's supervisor that it had in fact been towed to the appointed mechanic, without me being notified. I tried to contact the mechanic but the number that was listed online was no longer in use. I was forced to get a lift to the mechanic in order to arrange for the repairs to be made. The lack of communication and the poor service I received has left a bad taste in my mouth. 0/10 would not recommend!
I contacted this pharmacy 3 times over 3 days to get my prescription emailed to another pharmacy. Each time I was made to repeat my request to a new person and each time I was ensured that they would cc me in the email. 3 times they failed. On the fourth time I was told that they had got my email wrong, icloud.co.za not icloud.com; the former does not exist... Incredibly frustrated by this experience, each person was worryingly incompetent as they failed to follow up with me after hanging up the phone. Frankly I find this unethical in their blatant disregard for my predicament.
