Complete Scam!!!! Do yourself a favor and don't even bother calling these clowns. They do not deserve a star at all. This (business) if you can call it that has zero customer service they take your money and then lie and cheat their way around providing a service. I paid them 10k to do a job, it has taken them over two weeks to try and get the job right! I was ordered to bring my gazebo, table and x frames into the store so they could measure my items to fit. I left everything with them and provided all my own high res images for them to print. After a few days I had to call them to find out what was happening and I was told they had no staff to do the job so I would have to wait. After waiting for ages and leaving messages for Nadia or Zainab to call me back (which they never did) I went to the store no less than 14 times costing me over R700 in petrol not to mention time. To see what was going on with the job. The gazebo images were all scew and looked like a quilted blanket with stitching hanging off all over the place. The side walls were about half a meter too long and folded over so my logo was not visible. The decals I had made where unreadable, the business cards where all different sizes and my logo had been cut off the top and contact details not legible, the x frame banners were not cut to size so now bend the frames. I had an event that weekend so had to take this garbage to said event where I was being photographed for a national magazine and my business now looks like garbage. I returned everything on the Monday and demanded it get re done and explained very clearly that I had an event in Paarl Thursday,Friday,Saturday and Sunday and I needed everything ready for collection NO LATER than Wednesday 1pm. I arrived promptly at 1pm to collect my belongings that had now been paid in full and was told by Nadia the (manager) who I had dealt with directly that she took the day off and had instructed Zainab to have my goods ready but she forgot. I have now lost my spot at said event and Budget banners has cost me over 70K in lost business. When I arrived today to collect my items I was told that they were not going to give me the decals as I had approved the artwork and it is not their problem. YES I NOT ONLY APPROVED THE ARTWORK I SUPPLIED IT!!!! Budget banners destroyed the artwork as they do not know how to measure or stitch! or read a print ready document. I was then told I need to pay them MORE money as they had measured incorrectly and had printed on a larger surface than anticipated and are now demanding R2886.00 for a table cloth that does not even fit the table in the first place. I have demanded to speak with Shane the senior manager but am told he is never in. I demanded Peter Stam's number the owner but am told no one knows how to get hold of him. I finally found an email address for him and have sent no less that 9 emails to him with no reply.I asked that the least they could do for the money they have cost me in time, petrol and loss of revenue is provide me with the the already printed items as I could use them as a banner and was told by Nadia that this is not an option and by Zainab that it had already been destroyed. (LIARS) CAUTION!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THESE JOKERS!!!!!
The Blue Peter! On new years day my cousin and her friend joined me at the Blue Peter. My regular as I have been a patron there for well over 10 years. I was disgusted as to what transpired!!!! I found a table that friends where leaving and as we were seated our large umbrella blew out of the table stand and flew across another table I jumped up and rescued said Brolly and secured to to the table with the rope attached before anyone could get hurt. The staff stood and watched as I retrieved and secured said Brolly. Not even 5 minutes later another larger umbrella flew from a few tables away with the sharp pole end hitting my cousins friend in the head then smashing plates and glasses on the table, rendering Phillipa almost unconscious and me having to clean the smashed goods from the table while my cousin and other patrons rendered assistance to Phillipa in the ladies room. Not one staff member came over to ask if they could clean the glass or assist with Phillipa. I had to go upstairs to the hotel to ask for the manager after assessing that Phillipa who was bleeding and vomiting in the bathroom. I asked the manager to please call an ambulance as Phillipa was in and out of consciousness and he insisted that we take her to hospital. I asked to speak to the General manager and followed the manager towards where the GM was only to hear the manager say to him THIS GUY is causing a scene! At this stage I lost my temper and said if they wanted a scene I was happy to oblige!! The general managers attitude was worse than the manager stating that we should get her off the property to a hospital and that there was nothing he or any other staff member could do about it and that they had done all they could. Another lady who I presume works there said that she was shocked that they did not have a medical kit on premises and not to worry that Phillipa had now stoped bleeding and was still ONLY throwing up! As I was on my bike I had to find Phillipa's keys and locate her vehicle to rush her off to Net care. When I arrived at Net care with a still vomiting and semi conscious Phillipa I asked if Blue Peter had in fact called an ambulance as they are now insisting they did! I was told by 3 emergency receptionists that no call was made! While Phillipa was sent for CT scans etc. I had to Uber back to Blue Peter to retrieve my bike. When I returned there were no less that 12 tables seated holding the poles of their umbrellas as the wind had picked up even more. I asked to see the GM again and asked why they had not secured the umbrellas as yet and he rudely insisted they had and shouted he was not going to speak to me anymore and I must speak directly to his lawyer. I asked for the owners details and he said he was under no obligation to give me this information and I was to deal with him directly even though he was no longer willing to speak to me! I explained that this entire situation had been handled poorly and he argued back at me that he and his staff had done all they could do. There were at least another 20 patrons coming in and out of the ladies asking for a first aid kit and ice or if the ambulance was called. A cleaning lady with a plastic apron and gloves said that an ambulance was called from Net Care but as we now know no one was called!! I find this entire situation very disturbing as Phillipa is now liable for over R20 000 medical bills a ruined vacation not mention a pretty ****pie start to her new year and the management and staff at Blue Peter find this to be a trivial incident with not a care in the world!!! If anyone has the direct contact information for the owners of this establishment I would really appreciate it if you could DM me. Thanks in advance and Happy new year!
