We have been clients for 4 years. Looking at the complaints re response times over the 4 yrs on Hello Peter I can see that what we have experienced are not standalone service delivery issues but in fact the norm. From having to enter my property on my own post an alarm because 30 min later Mamba could not find my home., to my husband making it home 3 times from Sandton to Edenvale prior to Mamba arriving to Mamba not responding to a threat from a man at my front gate. All recorded via the procedures stipulated by Mamba. Ser vice failures confirmed by the director Jonathan which results in us not having to pay for a period of time and eventually a reduced fee. Till we complain on the whatsApp group along with other residents with similar experiences who are all justifiably concerned as crime is on the increase in our area and Mamba operates our boom. Did I mention an armed robbery in Dec at the boom with the guard? This is how how little impact Mba seems to be having? From all the complaints on the group I receive a call from the BDM Sean who feels the need to share with me that it is his group, his staff and it is the residents own fault for slow reaponses because they complain on the group. A group where no one reports an emergency but where Mamba feels it is ok to spam us with marketing when there is yet another security incident. I relay the conversation on the group as I feel people are entitled to understand Mamba’s position and instead I am threatened, bullied and blocked. Sean makes a phone call to my husband which he starts with ‘Your wife doesn’t understand’ as if I am not able to grasp a simple conversation. Maybe in 1950 this would have been acceptable but now you have insured me to to my husband. My husband eventually gets blocked as well but low and behind we start receiving information from people re Mamba’s conduct from the fact that people went to school together and there are no repurcussions to actions to being told they have 22 vehicles for 7000 residences spread from Edenvale to Benoni to rumours that they pay for free security and free holidays for community leaders to retain their stronghold in the areas... I lodged a complaint via FB as well and the marketing director reached out to ask whether Jonathan had contacted me. We wait but suspect it would be along the same lines as their response vehicles... hummers for director and muscle cars for staff from our fees but very little of anything else that really matters.
