At the beginning of December, myself and numerous FNB customers received a very peculiar SMS, advising me that my debit order will be deducted on the 15th of December and not at the end of December, and as per my contract the 1st of the Month. After numerous emails, telephone calls, I was informed by one of their highly educated staff that my debit order date is the 1st of the month, and also including the following comment: "the first day of the month which is the day after the last day of the month". So funny, as if I will not know when is the 1st day of the month. I requested confirmation of this statement on a Company Letterhead, and also received no response. I then went into overdraft on one of my accounts to make sure that I am not penalized on my credit record, if the debit order was indeed deducted on the 15th of December and the Debit order is returned. Wow, what a surprise myself, and also my husband received on the 15th of December that the Debit orders was deducted on the 15th. We only receive salary at the end of December and maybe if we are lucky on the 24th of December, in order for us to do some Christmas shopping. This is breach of Contract by First National Bank. I am also aware that I am not the only FNB customer with the same issue, as this issue was also raised on a few radio stations. This is so terrible. If I cannot make a payment, I am breaching our contract, however as a Financial institution they are allowed to do whatever they want. They are also the only bank that deducted debit orders on the 15th.
Thank you for the Great Service. Ricardo Ferreira is an excellent consultant. He is always willing to help, and with so much patience and dedication, especially assisting my husband with his Oncology Programme at Bonitas. During this Lock down period, he is still assisting us with all our Medical Aid queries, and also the changes to my daughters Medical Aid.
Great Service. Excellent cycling training programmes. If you wish to improve your cycling fitness, without training on the road, this is the place to go. Missing Our Family away from Home.
Centurion cycling club members are missing our favorite Cycling Shop. Always great service from OB and his team. Hope you guys are still fine. Highly knowledgeable team, and highly recommended for servicing and repairing of bicycles.
Great service. Keeping customers up to date with new products, delivery estimates. I wish they were an essential service. Great products, and great gifting ideas.
Excellent delivery service. So convenient, and always within the estimated delivery time. Waiting time no longer than two hours. App is user friendly, and quick and easy to use.
At ABSA Centurion I cannot complain about the service. Actually there is no service to complain about. The Banker you are supposed to deal with is on leave and the one standing in for her is not able to see us, as she is going to be busy with a customer, and will only be available in three hours, which is then 18h00. I really want to stay and see how a banker at a branch work past 17h00 in the afternoon. The other bankers all sitting behind closed doors with no customers, and looking at pieces of paper. We only want to change signatories for our Cycling Club, not a huge job. Also no need to have a high intelligence to change signatories. I've been in banking for over 30 years, luckily never ABSA, but this level of service is totally unaccepted.
