We bought 2 suitcases from Fraser’s at Eastgate after buying 2 of the same ones from Mall of the South the day before because we needed 4. After spending R6800 we asked for a small discount since we spent so much and this wasn’t even negotiable because “we didn’t spend enough” then the 2 suitcases from eastgate were dirty and have been knocked around. When I told the guy this, he just looked at me and provided no solution and wasn’t interested in wiping them or sorting the problem out so we paid full price for dirty suitcases that had been knocked around. Disgusting customer service and he had the attitude of “take it or leave it”. He is lucky that we are immigrating and had no other choice but to take them.
We have lived in a balwin rental for a year and a half in Greenstone Hill. Firstly the damp issues are ridiculous and a permanent issue because the units were not built correctly and when you report these issues to be addressed, they try find any reason to blame it on the tenants “not opening windows and results from poor ventilation” when they know clearly that all their units suffer from damp. If they can find a reason for you to pay, they will. Secondly, once we moved out, according to their contract, we will get our deposit back with 30 days. We have now been waiting for over that time and our payment hasn’t even been processed. The contract also says that any interest must be paid back with the deposit. This wasn’t going to be done until I called them out regarding this. Horrible customer service.
Good food but not covid compliant. Went to have dinner at the Rock n Sole in Meyersdal tonight and I did not enjoy it. The restaurant was absolutely packed and the owner from what it seemed kept pushing the tables up to make space for more people. We were all on top of each other. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. Also, before we were even able to get up, they were cleaning the table to make space for the next person to sit. I will not be eating here again. Money hungry owners that do not care about the comfortable and safety of their customers.
Unfriendly service and they make your valuables seem worthless.
I suggest that customers start looking at the original pricing of food from the actual restaurants rather than Ubereats pricing. We have just realized that their mark-ups are extortionate! A R20 mark up on one meal at a restaurant is robbery then on top of that they expect delivery, a service fee and a tip. Rather fetch the food yourself and save a lot of money. Absolute robbery.
Not sure where this place can say where our R100 is going to. The facilities such as the bathrooms are not clean and considering covid is a thing you would expect much better hygiene of their bathrooms. The pathways are not always kept clear and the river is filthy. You would think they would be able to put something in place to make the trail more appealing.
Average food for high prices. Not very impressed to pay Mugg n Bean prices for very average food.
After encountering issues with my Holster’s, I did wait some time before the support team was able to assist me. They were very helpful when it came to an exchange. My shoes arrived the next day. I am impressed.
I order 2 pairs of flip flops off holsters website in which I received these the next day. Within a few hours of wearing these, the print started to rub off. I logged a ticket and emailed the support team numerous times and I have still got not response back 3 working days later. The lack of communication when you encounter an issue with Holster is ridiculous! I am a loyal customer since I love holster shoes but if this is how you are treated, I will source my Holsters elsewhere.
Very comfy flip flops but in the past year I have bought 2 pairs of havaianas of which they have both broken in the same spot. For the price I paid for these, I am honestly not impressed and will not be buying another pair.
