Today I have deposed am affidavit at my local SAPS station, laying an online ***** charge against "CS Motor Spares" of Welkom, and the two individuals there with whom I have interacted - Charles and Sebastiaan. I have asked that the docket be forwarded to the Cybercrime Division as this is online *****. I have a case number and will be following
I am preparing an affidavit for the SAPS Cybercrimes Division as I have been a victim of online *****. I see from Hello Peter that I am not the only victim. No doubt the SAPS will be very interested in all the excuses.
Further to my earlier review of CS motor spares, I have today sent a letter of demand to Charles, having been given the run around by him and Sebastiaan. (Charles & Sebastiaan = CS Motor Spares). They are not registered with CIPC, either under their company name nor under their IDs, which I have obtained. This business of "Third Party" motor spares is obviously seen an easy way to ******* trusting customers. The story from the lady who thought she was buying a fuel tank is similar to mine.
*BEWARE CS MOTOR SPARES, Welkom* I am having a problem with CS Motor Spares, Caliban Court, Caliban Road, Welkom. On Monday 14 October I received (via WhatsApp) an invoice for R3050 for spares. After receiving voice note assurance that payment that evening would result in delivery via PostNet on Wednesday (16 October) duly paid the full amount and sent the proof of payment, which was acknowledged in a voice note saying the payment would be processed and the parts dispatched. Mine was an immediate interbank payment from ABSA to Capitec. Since then, all communication from that side has stopped. There is no response to my phone calls or whatsapp messages.
Planet Fitness, who breached their own contract by closing down their Craighall Gym without notice, are “handing over” former members to debt collecting firms. Planet Fitness closed Craighall Gym 28 June 2020. They removed all equipment, without notice. Apparently they had a dispute with the landlord, so they made that our problem. They breached their contracts with members who were not presented with any opt-out choices. Just closed doors and an empty gym. Then on 7 October 2020 they sent a “reminder” to pay fees. This is irregular. The gym is gone. It no longer exists. They cannot resume a breached contract and expect me, for example, to cross two major arterial routes for every visit to their nearest gym. And two arterials on the way back. I could walk to Craighall Gym without hassles. I have repeatedly advised that I do not wish to resume any contract with Planet Fitness. I regard the handing over to debt collectors as attempted extortion.
I don't know who voted Dialdirect as "Product of the Year" but I find their incompetence unspeakable. After six phone calls to 086 1555580 I am still unable to get them to send me a letter detailing car insurance for the tax year 1 March 2018 to 28 February 2019. Last year I gave up with the same query. They can promptly send an automated letter giving total premiums (including household etc). But for some reason they cannot send one for car premiums. Surely I cannot be the only customer who need such a letter for tax purposes? The frustrating part is this, you cannot email them. You cannot get past the wall of incompetents ... on the phone. And it's a different trainee each time you phone. I have a separate gripe about the quality of their designated panel beaters.
