I am furious! I took in my laptop on Monday with the problem of the esc key that keeps pressing by itself. By Thursday I followed up with the technician, Francios from Willowbridge, after no feedback and finally reaching him having to phone after him over and over again and he told me he was busy testing the laptop. It was clear that until then he has done nothing because he didn't even know I used a program to disable the esc and that it was written clearly on the job card for him to see. He told me that he will check the firmware and if the keyboard needs to be replaced it will be very expensive. I followed up again on Friday and he told me he took out the keyboard and "re-alligned" it and the keys are pressing better and that the esc key is fine I can collect my laptop. His guess was that the previous owner of the laptop was a bit too rough with the keys so it might have just been uneven. I asked him if it is not that and it happens again will disabling the esc key again fix the problem and he said yes. I collected the laptop and on the second power-up the esc key freaked out again and the results are I have to restore my laptop again since it messes with the updates. I also noticed the laptop wasn't plugged in at all while he had it since the cables were tied exactly as when I gave it in. The battery was on 40% so I'm guessing the laptop was on for about 40min max during that week. The dirt under the keys were exactly as when I took it in and pressed exactly the same. How much testing or "work" could he possibly have done with all that said???? My laptop is currently in a worse state as when I took it in. I phoned to speak to Francios but their lines are down at Willowbridge. I phoned Tygervalley and the guy who answered (Dylan I think) told me he would tell Francios to phone me back. The same guy phoned me back and told me Francios said my laptop is fine and ready for collection. I told him I already collected the laptop Friday and want to speak to him to find out what exactly he did because I paid the service fee and still have the same problem and can't see any work done or any solution. He told me he would speak to francios again. The same guy phoned back again and told me that Francios said he informed me that the keyboard was faulty and that replacing it will be costly. That is not true. When I asked what work he did he told me the keyboard was receded. When I asked why the keyboard wasn't even cleaned and then tested as a way to see if dirt might have been the problem underneath the key, he said the job was only to confirm if it was the keyboard that was faulty and cleaning wasn't included. I have no idea how he got to that being the only job because I already know there is a problem with the esc key and relied and paid an expert to see if anything can be done to fix the key and if not give a quote on replacing the keyboard. I never even got a chance to ask a quote because according to him the esc key was fine and I could pick up the laptop. So now I have to take my laptop to someone else and pay again. I can't see any justification for the money I paid and they basically used a lie and a "job description" that who knows where it came from to cover themselves. So my TIME AND MONEY WAS COMPLETELY WASTED!!! Not only that, THE UNPROFESSIONALISM IS SHOCKING!!! I will never support them again.
Absolute money making/ pyramid scheme. They promise a free weekend-away voucher that you have won and after attending a 1.5 hour presentation (and a sales person trying to convince you to pay a ridiculous joining & members fee) you get a R1000 voucher that is basically useless due to their rules & regulations. What a disappointment and waste of time this was! They are completely untrustworthy and I don't understand how a business can take pride in themselves and expect anyone to believe anything they say while breaking the first promise they make to you and fooling you into believing something that is not true.

I've been using Vic Bay as a supplier for just over a year now and their service is beyond excellent with every order. I usually deal with a lady called Cheryl. She responds very quickly and always goes the extra mile. Their quality products, communication and speedy delivery makes them not only a reliable supplier but also an absolute pleasure to do business with. Will definitely recommend them!
This is by far the worst service I have ever received...every single time!!! I ordered stock from them over 2 years ago. Paid for the stock and it never arrived. Heard many excuses like the lady handling the order is on maternity leave etc. I gave up after a few months and never received the stock or a refund of +-R1900. I re-located and started up my business again and thought to try them out again since they are just around the corner from me. They never have stock of vinyl. Sometimes they promise they will order for you and let you know once it is there. You eventually phone them to follow up..and still no vinyl in stock. Sometimes you just get a answer like they don't have stock and don't know when they will get again. Sometimes you are assured of stock arriving at the end of the week just to get there and realize yet another order of yours will have to be delayed due to their empty promises. I arranged to pick up a blade from them 3 weeks ago which they promised will be there the Saturday. I clearly asked them to confirm that they would have it ready for me since I had a order depending on it. Got there and no blade. Only more excuses. This week I inquired yet again on vinyl. Again no stock and a promise that they will let me know....I'm still waiting. I really hoped that they would have improved in time, but after giving them so many chances to just do what they advertise and offer, I have had enough. I honestly do not know how they can advertise and offer a service and yet all they have done for me is steal my money, waste my time and caused me to loose income. It's absolutely shocking! They just don't care!!!
