I travelled from New Zealand on holiday. I flew from Johannesburg to Durban return. On my return 2 checked in bags were very damaged. I reported it. I was informed I needed to send ID, plane ticket, bag ticket, bank info and proof of purchase. My problem is proof of purchase (which shouldn't factor) this information in in New Zealand. I now no longer have appropriate bags to travel back to New Zealand. I think this is terrible service and recommend that people stay away from them.
I was offered a travel discount card by Percyvale. I asked the cost, he said there wasn't any and asked for my bank details. Unfortunately I gave it. He said I have a 5 day cooling off period and a manager would call me to confirm. Helen then phoned me and said they would be drawing 3500 from my account. I said no way. She then said they have less expensive option of 1499. I said no thanks. She kept on about it. I said no. Next day 1499 went out my account. I phoned and spoke to another so called manager and he said I must wait for the card I may find it is beneficial. I again said no thanks give me my money back. He said there was nothing he could do. I still don't have my money back and also no card.
