Been one of those unfortunate sucker members since 2017 and been paying diligently every single year. (according to my statements). While busy with my banking app I see this huge deduction go off for EZT travel and I'm thinking ****! I know I didn't book or make any travel arrangements and I cancelled the "unauthorized" payment with immediate effect. A day or two later I receive these threatening emails because my account is in arrears and I will be handed over to a lawyer. I phoned the gentleman sending the pleasant mails, Renaldo Adams, and explained to him what happened and that I will pay the "arrears" and sort out the debit order as soon as I can get to my bank. (We live on a farm). He totally understood and then a few days later came the next threating email from him accusing me of placing GTA travel in ill repute by claiming they have no right to debit my account. Now I have never used this account and the free accommodation we received when we joined was so ****py we hardly slept that evening, yet we continued paying without complaining. I could not even remember why we joined and had to ask Renaldo to send me a list of benefits. Well Renaldo, your pleasant emails have most certainly succeeded in leaving a very BITTER taste in my mouth. I sincerely apologize for not realizing that EZT travel is in fact GTASA!!!

I paid up my Holiday Shares 2 years ago, when I tried to cancel the monthly subscription fee, I was told I signed up for 30 years...when I looked at the documents signed, right at the bottom of the amount payable they inserted 30 years, when I spoke to my nieces who was with me, they remembered the person assisting us took the paperwork to be signed after I signed, coming back they made a big fuss that I was now a life-long member. Is there anyone else that was caught in this manner. It is now 9 years, and I am still paying for something that I never get to use. Sad that companies with little schemes can tie a person down for 30 years.

Dont let these people fool you, We tried to cancel my deceased mothers contract for 4 years already. The debit order goes off in August yearly. The Code on the bank statement is EZT TRAVEL. We have gone down to ABSA to try and get hold of a number to call. There is NO Contact number on their system. for EZT traveL. This year I am cancelled the policy from banks side. Lone behold, an email to ask for funds. But now I have a contact number and person. I call up. I must pay the R2743.00 to clear the account then I can cancel the contract. DAYLIGHT *******!

Shortly after I retired I received a phone call that I had won a prize but needed to attend a presentation. I duly attended, where I found a room full of pensioners who were all lured there with this ‘prize’. I realise that I acted hastily in signing up for this ‘holiday reservation scheme’, since it turned out to be no more than that, such as Lekker Slaap & others, except you do not pay an annual fee to those apps. I have asked to cancel but was told I cannot cancel, but I can try to sell my membership myself, which off course would be impossible. I have now received a schedule from them showing annual fees until 2064, which would mean I would be 115 years old, if I’m still alive. Based on this schedule, they are offering for me to pay R50,000 settlement, then they will cancel. I’m a 76 year old pensioner & cannot afford to pay R50,000. I’m prepared to pay the outstanding amount & then cancel the contract. Due to cost of living, I’ve had to move in with my children, so I cannot afford these fees & least of all the expensive holidays they have on offer. Please be very careful of schemes like these during an emotional time like retiring.

We had an amazing experience with Global Travel Alliance! They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and tailored our itinerary to suit our needs perfectly. The team was incredibly knowledgeable about our Mauritius package and they provided us with unique experiences that we wouldn't have found on our own. Highly recommend!

Good day My Dad signed a contract with this company a while ago and then used their services once. Later he decided that he does not want this anymore and wanted to cancel but could not locate their contacts and forgot the agency name (old age). He then cancelled the debit order which triggered them to call him to follow-up on outstanding payment. He requested that the contract be cancelled but up to today they refuse to cancel saying that he must pay the debt first before they can cancel. Is there such a contract where you are not allowed to cancel it until you pay-up?
