Contractor fails to perform - will not return property - dodges calls and responsibility

Jan has taken our complex's intercom speaker for repair and has subsequently disappeared. The ordeal has been dragging on for months. He initially agreed on two separate occasions with 2 separate trustees to come to the complex and re-install the repaired intercom speaker but did not show up to either meeting, did not answer his phone, still to this day after more than 30 calls does not answer his phone. He has greatly inconvenienced us, is highly unprofessional and uncooperative and should not be trusted with one's propery. Please do yourself a favour and do not utilise his services, it will prevent a lot of stress, headaches and frustration.
