Lack of security on ***** cases. Besides very bad customer communication, they have zero client security. I reported *****/**** on my business account on the 21 November 2025. There were 98 transactions in about 40 minutes of amounts between R2998.00 and R3000.00 taken out of my overdraft. TOTAL R299 000.00 Today the 3 January they had the audacity to call me and followed up with an email. The bank does not take responsibility as the *****sters used my cell number which is the same cell number the bank has on my digital banking app. HELLO...98 transactions of small amounts in 40 min added up to R299 000.00 and this was not suspicious. No alerts or blocking of my account. They tried with my absa account Also first amount of R3000.00 Absa have same details of mine as Standard bank BUT the blocked my account immediately and alerted me
I was ****med/de*****ed. There were 98 transactions of between R2998 and R3000.00 withing 45 minutes. Not once did Standard bank notify me or block my account. Surely this is suspicious! They tried with my Absa bank at the sane time. Absa immediately blocked my account. This was on the 20 November 2025. It is now 20 January. Two months later. I email them week after week and they just ignore my emails. I email my private banker and the head of *****. No response. I even call my private banker as I have his cell number. He ignores my calls!
I have been one of TAAG top promoters. Many will agree. However. The fish rots from the head down. I have UMBI UMBI miles which are now expiring in July because whenever I want to use them, im told I can not as there are no tickets or upgrades available on my dates! But on the 10 July LUANDA TO LISBON there was a family with 3 children the "chef" casually, just before take off took them to be seated in business class!!
Do not buy from them. I bought a Hettie vaccum part 75 days ago. Never received. They blamed the shipping problems. Eventually said I would receive 21 April. I emailed them again. Now they gone AWOL.
Their customer service is non existant. Their staff assistance is zero in Luanda. Lost baggage on a flight. There is no feedback from them. There is no contact number you can call to find out if your luggage is still sitting at Luanda airport. We had a connecting flight Cpt to Lisbon. On arrival in Lisbon the luggage did not arrive. We reported it at Lisbon airport. Just as useless. All they say is. " we have had no feedback from Luanda, wait and WHEN WE HEAR from them we will contact you" Reference LISDT29959 Surname Thomas.
They are the best. Very accommodating and Will do their best to see your pet. On 2 occasions now they have waited for me to take my sick dogs in, close to their closing times. Thanks to their reception ladies too, as they the ones giving you the appointment!
Do not book with edreams. It states on their site than one can cancel worh in 24 hours for refund. This is not true. You will not get a refund. We booked a ticket with them with Taag from Cape Town to Lisbon return. Within 6 hours we realized we had filled in our old passport number so quickly we cancelled. We then bought a new ticket and filled in the new passport number. BIG MISTAKE. NUMEROUS emails and phone calls to eventually be told no refund. I called Taag. They said they received no payment from them for the booking which was cancelled. SO THEY *****ING THE MONEY. My point is. They STATE YOU CAN CANCEL WITHIN 24 HOURS FOR A REFUND. BUT THEN THEY COME UP WITH A LOAD OF BULL****. I have seen so many complaints from people in regards same. edreams booking reference 15636254850
Booked a ticket through them. But within a couple hours we realized we entered the old passport number. We tried every possible way to get hold of them. Their pathetic chat box is computerized which does not answer questions pertaining to one's query. Finally the only way we thought we could possibly change the passport number was by canceling the ticket then re booking another with the correct passport number. They mention a cancellation fee. But straight away we called Taag which is the airline and they confirmed E Dreams had NOT cancelled as yet. We to get hold of them to stop the cancellation. BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HOLD OF THEM. No email except going through their portal which is useless. The next day we were told the trip is cancelled but a refund will be given within 30 days less their fee. My question here is.....proof we had proof that edreams had not cancelled within 12 to 24 hours. We tried to stop the cancellation on their pathetic portal chat. But automated generated answers. Nothing unrelated to the query. No person one can chat to over a phone. No numbers! We eventually through an angry customer got their email address.
Today 12 /2 there i received 2 x messages someone had logged into my account It was nor me. I calked the fraud line. Once I got through a lady started looking into the query and kept me holding on for 26 minutes. I had to listen to music over and over. Eventually they just cut me off. I tried calling the fraud line again. After listening to their recording press1, press 1 etc. I finally get through to fraud. Again kept holding. But after holding for a long time AGAIN hot cut off. What the hell!! I keep promising myself to move both my business, private and family trust accounts to another bank. Well now will definitely get down to doing it. That is if someone hasn't depleted all my accounts?
Shocking service. Trying to call them is almost impossible. You hold on for 20 plus minutes to be told they can't help you. They put you through to another department . All I was trying to do is order another digiset as mine went on the blink. Sales say you must speak to technical. Technical say you must speak to sales. One week later paying for a service you can not use nobody calls you back as promised. I sent emails no reply. Pushed from pilar to post. Now I want to cancel and even more of a performance.
