TO EVERYONE INTENDING TO BOOK AND STAY AT : The Shakespeare Inn Hotel & Conference Centre,Vanderbijlpark KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING : - Firstly when you make the booking does their website : https://shakespeare.co.za/ clearly state restaurant facilitiies. When booking in Saturday - 1/10/2022 I was informed that since COVID -19 has the restaurant been closed. - When I got to my room {West facing} were the curtains wide open and the room baking hot. - Furthermoere no curtain covcring the bathroom window. - Cannot get the Airconditioning to function when I called reception {the telephone in the room NOT WORKING} were I informed assistance would only be possible after 19H00 {two hours later}. I pursued all avenues in the meantime and got it working eventually. The airconditinng functioned at minimum level all night, One of the staff never came after 19H00 t lend assistance or ensuring everything is in order. - THe television one has three channels funcitioning with the picture barely visible being bad quality all round. - The Shuttle service I used informed me to never use thehe Shakespeare Inn Hotel & Conference Centre in future as they are known to be one of the worst in Vanderbijlpark on all levels. - When contacting the OWNER: Sean Greeff ,the ONWER, today were I informed that for the rate I payed what else do I expect. No apology at all. #CutomerServiceA****Worst
Dear Santam, I received notification from my Broker that my all my claims in future will bear an excess payable except glass. However I have a facility in place for no excess on my vehicles which my broker informed me are not valid any more. My broker states that this is due to your legal dept. being unable to collect the shortfall payment on my vehicle damage claim a few months back where another vehicle drove from behind into my vehicle on the R21 highway. The owner of this vehicle are an attorney with Santam unable to apply the law to him now I’m liable for this. Should this not be resolved will the Ombudsman etc. Come into play.
