Bought a car from this dealership after being assured by both the dealership that it was a clean vehicle with no issues. Unfortunately, just two weeks after purchase, problems started. Six months later, the same issues are still unresolved, and getting any form of proper resolution has been exhausting. We are paying a premium every month for a vehicle we have barely been able to use. What has been most disappointing is the lack of transparency, accountability, and urgency throughout the process. My wife and baby have repeatedly been left without transport because the car keeps returning to the workshop and only 1 out of 10 issues is being sorted. Unless I constantly chase, follow up, and push for action over a long period of time, nothing happens. A customer should not have to fight this hard after making such a significant purchase. Very disappointing experience.
I am at a loss for words when it comes to expressing my disappointment with the Peugeot dealership in Northcliff. I took my peugeot RCZ in for minor repairs in November 2019 and I only got it back in March 2020. I am a salesman by profession and this means that a car is a necessity. I had to wait for four months! For me to get my car back. And during this waiting period I was not communicated with regarding the progress of the repairs, etc. I had to phone the dealership numerous times just to obtain a simple update. Secondly, The consultant that I initially dealt with decided to resign during this process and I was not made aware of this, I had to call in to find out. Thirdly, The least that could have been communicated to me was the estimated completion date of my repairs, which I seriously struggled to get out of them. Lastly, When I dropped my car off for repairs, I mentioned to the consultant that the leather flap on my dashboard was rolling up, if they can please place it back. She agreed to this request. 4 months later, without any update from the dealership, I give them a call just to receive some sort of progress! The lady answers the phone and says "Oh! I thought so and so communicated with you already! Your car is ready!". Being in shock and out of words, I just hung up. When I finally went into the dealership, I found that the leather on my dashboard was not put back and in addition, no appologies whatsoever was offered. This is the worse service level a dealership can offer. I will never go back there again. They just do not respect or have the decency to communicate with their clients. I will sell my peugeot and move to another brand that will give me the service level a client should receive. It is not too much to ask for. Do not underestimate your clients.
