Good Morning, I would like to firstly state how spine chillingly incompetent your security service provider is on your premises. It is a sobering sight to understand that while my wife was violated and had her phones snatched from her person - your onsite management offices were closed. Frantic and wallowing with tears in her eyes: She scoured and damn near flipped the whole mall upside down looking for your "X-Pert" (the irony) security members BUT THEY WERE NOWHERE IN SIGHT. She had to get in her car to get me so that I can assist her; when we got there: law and behold - one security guard is basking in the scenic views of The Reef with a girl next to him while the other one.... well I don't know what the hell he was doing because he came strolling to where we were even after he was contacted by "Romeo" that there was an emergency - God forbid if it was a white woman that was the complainant in this story. They get on a call with another team member who in-turn asks them (the 2 security guards we were with) to take a picture of my wife to see what she looks like only to get a lottery result feedback of: "noh my sister we can't help you, you'll need a case number first" - why weren't we told this initially? Why would they need to see what she looks like first before they offer assistance? In expressing my frustration to these 2 gentlemen I was then told to my face - with gross petulance and Lack of compunction - to not blame them as security guards, YES THAT HAPPENED. Then my legal and risk assessment mind kicks into over drive: If my 3 year old BLACK daughter were to go missing ergo kidnapped or just unwittingly went into someone's car while they were on your premises, what assistance or help (PREVENTATIVE, reactive or otherwise) would you provide me as a father in my efforts of procuring evidence to take to the police? What measures do you have in place to ensure that owing to the scourge of child kidnappings in this province: your team of "X-Perts" have processes and mechanisms in place to competently and swiftly deal with such occurrences? As a security company: I would assume that theres an enabling provision within PSIRA's and SASA's constitution and legislation that allows the public to hold them responsible and accountable moreso when their modus operandi is entrenched in protecting subjects and patrons who are on their clients premises. We were privy to witnessing an incident that was to an extent identical to my wife's ordeal where "a couple" attempted to dupe some BLACK lady in taking her phone and bag at FoodLovers (at your premises) but because she had screamed - they scurried off and ran BUT they were never apprehended, AGAIN - "no one saw anything". It is understood that there has been countless complaints by your FEMALE BLACK patrons around loss of their phones and other amenities at the behest of these criminals but I don't see any awareness or security being "beefed up" to deal with this problem - would the same attitude and manner be followed if this was happening to your WHITE patrons? I don't want to make this a racial issue but your conduct doesn't seem to sway me otherwise, your conduct also doesn't in still confidence in the safety of our BLACK mother, wives and children.
**** service, not a care in the world. *shrugs shoulders*. I'm In a coverage spot but I go 3 days without any Internet connection - when it is KIND ENOUGH to connect: it goes awol again after 10mins.
