Long story short Toscana's manager's behavior is TRASH. It's even more shocking that he is a manager and he acts like this. Anyways so I go to Toscana to get takeaway pizza (Friday night vibes) I get there and order my pizzas and the waiter brings the payment machine. I am using my EU card which I have used there a couple of times before successfully. But this time the machine has some error and it's not reading my card. The waiter askss me to go withdraw money and I tell him that's impossible for me to do so the bank charges to withdraw money are insane, let alone the fact that I have to travel a long way to get to the bank. I tell him the withdrawal part is out of the table. The waiter then goes to speak to the manager at the back and the man comes out of the kitchen and he starts screaming and saying they already made the pizza I must "fokof" and he just keeps more swear words that I won't repeat over here. I tell him but it's your machine that's not reading my card and he shouts "it's not my machine". At this point, I can see that his temper is going higher and I decide to leave. I was very scared and as a woman, I couldn't even speak back because I don't know where his temper would have gone. I will never set my foot in that place ever again. Firstly given the situation as a manager he was supposed to ask me what was happening when he came out and after I explained. Try to speak to me not "shout and swear" to find a common ground and I mean if you are running a business it's your responsibility to sort out your payment system or at least try to have more than one. He was really out of order I couldn't stop myself from crying after the situation played in my mind because I was defenseless and I stood there and said nothing while he was disrespecting me. But what was I going to say to an aggressive, swearing and loud man? WHAT A TRASH SERVICE TOSCANA MANAGER OFFERED. I WILL NEVER EVER SET MY FOOT THERE EVER. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY EXPRESS MY DISSAPOINTMENT.
FRAUD! I placed an order on 20 March 2020 for delivery. Payment made and the order confirmation email was sent to me. Yes, lockdown happened but they have not yet even bothered to send an email to let me know what's happening on their side. My product is not delivered to this day. I sent emails enquiring and they don't even bother to respond. Their social media platforms are also useless- they last updated them in 2019. Do not buy from this company!
