Honestly my issue is with the big white man that’s the chef, go online check what are the different steak levels because for the first time ever I’m highly disappointed with my steak today had to send it back twice firstly it was medium well, when I asked for medium, the it came back rare then it returned medium but had sandy grains ask if it was tossed to the floor first… on its 3rd return the chef brought it himself, being rude and condescending… Sir were you paying my meal? Or did yiy had me the money to pay for it? I’m utterly disappointed never coming back I’ll stick to the Menlyn branch where they actually care about make the customer happy. Thank you to the waiter and manager who tried to not make me feel awkward. Send your steak chef back to culinary school he needs it then take him for a course on customer service.

I was at Bedfordview doppio zero on 08/02/2023… what an experience, I don’t under If the waiters and waitresses were being ***ist or racist or both. I was greeted by a gentleman and 10mins yes later a lady came to take my drink order, the menu wasn’t explained, and 10minutes later my drink arrived, I wasn’t asked if I would like to order… no one checked on me for 45+minutes. When I lifted my head from my phone I realized the restaurant had only white clients the only other person of colour was probably served because he was with a white male… now there I was realizing I ****ed up by entering this establishment. I mean I’m a restaurant lover and I guess my money wasn’t good enough for this doppio zero, upon complaining the manager apologized and a different waitress they called the lady that served me I believe her name is Samu and still I did not receive an apology, the only reason I paid the bill was because I didn’t want to be judged as someone who complained but didn’t want to pay the bill! But I’m so hurt that my money had to go for such nonsense I’ve paid bills that go over 20k happily but my R68 pains me. They have ruined even my favorite doppio zeros
Went to Paul Polofields on 06/07/2022, I guess when you are wearing tracksuits you are not good enough for them, regardless of spending your own money the staff will treat you like trash and make sure you feel it. I’m very disappointed as many people actually say it’s a good restaurant, but I get better service from the smallest diners, anyway God bless the staff and their evil hearts.
