I have worn Barestep shoes for years (have 3 pairs), loved them and recommended them to all and sundry. The original ones had very durable soles, but the uppers were wearing through on the black pair. I invested in another two pairs in November 2025. The sizing had changed, so the shoes I received were too small, and one pair was the wrong colour - a colour I already have. I needed to return both pairs, unworn. I jumped through all the hoops, paid the return fee, got exchange permission, got their form/waybill/label, and sent back the shoes with their courier. That is now six months ago, and there has been absolutely no response to my repeated emails or my Facebook messages. And no shoes. This is unacceptable.
In response to the complaints from people who hadn't received their orders: that is not universal. I ordered two foot massagers and a neck stretcher on Christmas Eve, and they indicated that delivery would take time. I was kept updated in January and the package arrived about a month after I placed the order. I haven't made up my mind about the neck stretcher but was unimpressed with the foot massager, which gives only a slight tingle to the feet, not the powerful calf muscle stimulus implied in the advert. I tried it for a while to give it a fair shot, but wrote to them today for a refund. (I'll keep the neck stretcher.) The address from which they (Klara) has written (info@postur.co.com) bounced, unsurprisingly, but I had included the support address from their website (.co.uk), and received an acknowledgement. I'll update here if I do get a refund.
