Very bad after sale service. We bought a Solar system from Power Africa in March 2022. During the installation the technician did not connect the Shoto Litium battery to the Luxpower SNA 5000 Inverter with a BMS data cable for reasons unknown to me. The inverter was set up to read the Litium battery as a normal Lead-acid battery. The Solar system connects with Wifi and can be remotely monitored by Power Africa based in Pretoria. I am based in Natal. I was promised by Alex (the company rep) and Seaton (the technician who did the installation) that they will send the Electrical COC Certificate for the solar installation to me via email, which I am still waiting for. I still send emails in this regard monthly for the past 6 months to 3 different company email addresses including Alex, without any response from Alex or the Company as yet ? Our solar system worked flawlessly from March 2022 up untill 25 September 2022, when while we were watching Television on sunday during the day, our solar system suddenly started switching On and Off by itself and it seemed like it was doing an software update via Wifi. The rest of the sunday during the afternoon and through out the night the solar system did not function properly. On Monday 26 September 2022 Gert (the IT guy) from Power Africa gave me a call and assured me our solar system was now functioning properly after he did the software update remotely from Pretoria. When I got back home just after 1pm on monday I heard that the Inverter was still switching On and Off and sounded like it was trying to do a restart. I phoned Gert (the IT guy) immediately and explained the problem to him. We tried a series of resets telephonically (I stay in Natal) but to no avail. Gert then told me the problem is between the inverter and battery because there is no BMS datacable connected. I asked him why there was no problem with the system for 6 months, but now after the software update the inverter is not working. Gert could not give me a proper answer and assured me he will send me a BMS datacable from Pretoria, and then we can sort out the problem. I recieved the datacable on 30 September 2022 and gave Gert a call to assist me in setting up the BMS datacable between the inverter and battery. Gert's phone is still switched off, so I gave Alex a call, but he blocked my number. I phoned all the Power Africa numbers I could find, but no answer. We are using Jojo water tanks and an electric pressure pump to supply our house and my business with water, but during loadshedding, we have no power and no water for the toilets, shower etc. We have been struggeling like this for 5 days now, which is totally unacceptable. We paid a lot of money for this solar system but Power Africa absolutely dont care about after sale service. I would not recommend Power Africa, very bad experience, and we are still without power and water. Thanks Power Africa, for nothing !!!
Very bad experience Invoice number: 1308 It has been well over 4 weeks now since my Daughters furniture and motorbike sustained severe damage after being transported by Ultimate Logistics movers. Still no positive feedback or action taken. I was informed that Maisen does not work there anymore, but if you request a quote, funny enough, Maisen replies ? Ultimate Logistics transported my Daughters furniture on an open truck on 27 December 2021, they left Her belongings in the rain and 80% of the load was water damaged. She had to personally take the couch, computer, tv and other boxes out of the rain while the 2 guys just stood inside the house waiting for the rain to stop. She immediately complained, phoned Maisen on 27 December 2021 and he (Maisen) stated they would fix it. The day of delivery (30 December 2021) She only received 9 out of 15 boxes in black bags, She lost a few minor things, smart big screen tv was broken, new fridge was damaged and the superbike that Ultimate Logistics also transported has been severely damaged, unusable condition now, seems like it fell of the truck at high speed ! Couch only has 3 legs now instead of four, with a constant wet smell. She Tried to claim from Ultimate Logistics insurance, but Maisen is still non responsive on e-mails and what's app for the past two weeks. We have photos of when they loaded everything in the rain in Pretoria and how it looked when it was off loaded off the truck in Richards Bay. Eagerly still awaiting any reply from Maisen. Would most definitely not reccomend at all. The Invoice number is: Inv 1308. All My Daughters contact details are on the invoice. Please respond, I am still waiting for any positive feedback. The Aqua Ozone elite machine works great, even for something like toothache. We use the machine daily, and have never looked back. Great investment indeed !
