I’ve taken my car here a couple of times now and every experience I’ve had is that of satisfaction. From walking in, to leaving after collecting my vehicle. The friendliness, the professionalism, the thoroughness...the smell inside my then washed car! I know there are people who didn’t experience this at the Wynberg’s Car Service City (re. the reviews) and that’s unfortunate, I hope they were able to find a place/person that did give them the service that fully satisfied them...and I hope they took the time to then also give them a review. We tend to be quick on the bad and negative experiences, but forget to mention the exceptional ones. We do need both, so that the next person researching can then make their own decision based on all experiences...and for whatever company to also know what they are doing wrong AND right.
My patience has run out, been waiting since May for an order I placed! First response I received was 11 June stating it was busy being followed up with the relevant department, an automated order update email on 12 June which said "We expect to deliver your order within 5-7 working days" and then the last response was 20 June saying it's been escalated...we’re in July already and still nothing happened. 26 June I requested my money back and I’ve had nothing but silence, when calling the customer care line I’m on hold until my airtime runs out and I’ve phoned numerous times. Can Makro’s online customer service really be this bad?!!
