Was looking for a 40th birthday prezzie for my brother in law and of course left it last minute. Contacted them and dealt with Reynard. What a lekker experience. He understood we did not have alot of time to waste and got the invoice for payment to me and also subsequent courier of product quickly and effectively! Such a pleasure dealing with him and getting the gift in time. Kept me updated on progress and gift delivered when promised. Can recommend them without any hesitation! Honey Badger knife also was a huge success!! Thanks again to a company that values clients and understands customer service!
5 star service. Dealt with Reynard and he understood the urgency of the purchase to get the item to me ASAP. Website was easy to navigate and ordering also went quick after registering. Payment was made Monday morning and parcel delivered from Bloemfontein to Worcester on Wednesday afternoon. Will definitely recommend and definitely support again in the future!
The Laptopshop. On Facebook looks quite promising. Read a couple reviews and got a mixed bunch. Thought I would give them a chance and see what happens. After payment the laptop was not sent of as discussed straight away. Eventually received my laptop. When putting everything together saw the plug part of the power cord was not attached and brought this to the attention of Jay. Or tried to at least as I was not able to actually get hold of him. Needed to use the laptop and bought what I needed to get it charging. Straight away realised there was a connection issue with the charge port and again, in an email, let Jay at the laptop shop know. Also saw the sticker on the charging unit was removed leading me to believe it was not the actual laptop's charger. Surprise, surprise, no response. After a couple of tries was able to make contact and it was decided that he would reimburse me for the missing half of the power unit. (R70) Then I was advised to send an email to get the "Warehouse" to contact me within 24 hours as there is a 1 year guarantee/warranty on the laptop as advertised. That was 3 June 2020. Not sure if they have access to the Delorean from Back to the Future but anyway. So tried to contact them again to no avail. Decided to get it checked at a local PC shop. Was found the charge port to the laptop was faulty and needed to be replaced. Got a quote for the part and had it ordered from the UK. (R435.85) Part arrived and was fitted and of course the charger unit was not correct for the laptop. Got a universal charger that fit perfectly for R499. And what of my warranty or stellar after sales service team at the Laptop shop? Not a peep. Tried calling them this morning and both the cell and landline number went straight to voicemail and I am not holding my breath for a call back if their past record for communication is anything to go by. So in short. Stay away. Shop around. Pay a little more. But definitely without a doubt do not wast your money with this company. I can assure you you can do without this type of aggravation!!
