Scammers
I applied for a loan with miena cash loans in June. They responded saying I needed to pay R1100 for attorney processing fees which I did. Then another reply saying I needed to pay R1599 in order for the funds to be transferred into my account. I then cancelled the loan with them and they said they were going to refund my money. As yet nothing. I emailed no response. I called and the lady said they would send me a refund form and the funds wil be transferred within 24hrs, which they never. I called a few more times even threatened with the NCR and when I did that I received an email saying they will refund within 14 working day and nothing. It's been more Than 14 days and yet nothing. I think I should really involve the NCR as they are a registered company scamming people out of their money.

Fraud listings
Very bad experience with teljoy. I have 3 items from them. My TV broke almost 2 years. I called them to come as there is insurance on the device. They then told me that I was in arrears which was correct and once I paid up they will collect it which never happened. Then I lost my job and couldn't afford to to pay them. I explained that to them and they said they were going to collect my items which they never. Then sometime last year I get a call from a collection agency and I make a payment arrangement which for the 1st month I kept to the arrangement. The next month I couldn't make payment as circumstances changed....... Long story short. They never contacted me for a while after that. Then today I go for an interview for a job only to find out that they put a fraud listing on my name..... A fraud listing????????? I've never committed fraud in my life my God. I was so shocked. I got a number and I called the lady says she is the collection agent and that the listing means I disappeared without paying which means that's fraud. I am still at the same address, been here for 36 years but they couldn't find me. They never looked for me as they say they did. She then continues to say I need to pay them in order for the listing to be removed. How do I pay for something if I'm not working?????? How do I pay for it if I now can't get a job due there fake listings. Teljoy has ruined my life so I won't recommend anyone to join them. Pls come and fetch your items so my name can be cleared...... Wait one of the ppl I spoke to also said if they collect the items I would still have to pay........ Very ****ed off
