I have made two payments to Teljoy using the QR codes on the invoice that they send to me. I am now being told that they received neither of the payments. When contacting their Accounts and Collections team via email, I get an undeliverable response. "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now." I responded on the 7th of March with payment details. No further communication was received from Teljoy. Now I get my new invoice and it still shows both payments as un-received. Is the QR codes on the Teljoy invoice incorrect? If that is the case, it is an internal problem that thy need to fix. I have made payment. Communication with and from Teljoy seems to be a hopeless case. I just want to resolve the issue.

I am extremely frustrated with the lack of assistance from Teljoy regarding incorrect deductions and the incorrect status of my account. I currently have two active contracts with Teljoy: • Contract 1: R878 per month • Contract 2: R498.01 per month + R99 “Dress Your Tech” voucher fee (which I have never used) My expected monthly repayment is therefore approximately R1,475. However, the following payments occurred on my account: • 23 January 2026 – I made a manual payment of R1,440 using the settlement/payment link sent to me by Teljoy. • 26 January 2026 – Teljoy deducted R1,397 from my account. • 31 January 2026 – Teljoy attempted to deduct R1,397 again (uncertain if this debit was successful). This means that multiple payments were processed within the same billing period. I first contacted Teljoy regarding this issue on 27 January 2026, where I also provided my bank statements. I followed up again and sent my statements on 11 February 2026, which Teljoy acknowledged receiving. Despite providing proof of payment, I am now receiving messages stating: “FRIENDLY REMINDER OF ARREAR AMOUNT DUE TO TELJOY R4209.00 – Pay to avoid legal action.” This is extremely concerning and unacceptable. I have already paid substantial amounts towards my account, yet I am being threatened with legal action and being told I am in arrears. My biggest concern is that this situation could negatively affect my credit record, which would be unfair and unacceptable given that I have already provided proof of payment. I urgently request assistance from Teljoy to resolve this matter.

I report my faulty diswaher on the 2 March. I follow up a few times telephonically till today I did not even receive it back or replacement the only answer I got the technician must still check what is the problem

Absolutely shocking customer service. Since Friday I have been trying to get assistance. After requesting communication via email, an agent finally contacted me and advised that there are no loan devices available. She promised that she would let me know when one becomes available and that an email confirmation would be sent regarding this. Well, surprise surprise — no email was ever sent. This is exactly the kind of poor communication and lack of accountability that customers are constantly complaining about. How difficult is it to simply follow through on what was promised? If you tell a customer an email will be sent, then send it. It’s basic service. Please explain why the customer service is this bad and why customers are expected to chase after updates that were already promised. At this point it feels like once the call ends, the customer is completely forgotten. Extremely disappointing experience.

On 4 March this year I resorted to social media being Hello Peter because for more than a year I have been paying R500 each month for a double bed that is if absolutely disgusting quality. After just over a year, the springs and wires have surfaced and my Wife and I first found a spot in the hollows between the wires and we resorted to flipping the one side only materass over to make things better. We have sent emails, gone onto the website and even withheld payment to get a response, but only then to be told that we cannot be helped because our payment is behind. On 4 March this year I wrote Hello Peter and the response was that blah blah blah and that a senior consultant would contact us shortly. This never happened, so I wrote Hello Peter again, and again, some blah blah blah and no contact, eleven days later. Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Teljoy gives one no joy, robs one of monthly instalments, deserved sleep and other joy. Teljoy, you even suck at apologising. I want my money back!!!!!!

I am posting this complaint publicly due to Teljoy’s failure to remove a pro rata charge from my account that resulted directly from a complaint I lodged. This charge should have been reversed once the issue was raised, yet it remains on my account despite follow‑ups. No valid explanation has been provided, and no corrective action has been taken. It is unreasonable to expect a customer to carry a financial charge arising from a dispute that Teljoy has failed to resolve properly. I am formally requesting that the pro rata amount be removed in full. If this is not done within seven business days from the date of this post, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) for formal intervention. I trust Teljoy will address this promptly to avoid further escalation.

Pathetic service after numerouse emails and whatsapp stating proof of payment and only recieving automated email stating a consultent will get back to me/call me i have hade no response from them to try and assit me so i can pay off my areas after numerous emails stating my situation and what i can afford

Disgusting service! Months and still no response or refund... I pay a debit order monthly with an easy fix add-on.. I'm advised about a refund as they deemed my TV not feasible to repair and I will be credited with a refund.. Still no word back and no response to emails! I sent a follow-up email last week and still nothing.. If I call today to speak to tech support, I will probably won't get a straight answer from anybody. Very easy to take debit orders but when it's time to make good on promises they don't respond and are afraid to take accountability. Disgusting!
