after craving pretzels for two weeks my husband offered to buy me some at a tuck shop but I declined because it was not the kind I liked and insisted on buying it at shoprite because that's where I saw the pretzels I wanted. Bought the pretzels at shoprite a couple days later as I go there once a week (Saturdays) when needed because I live like 22km away. Set things up to watch a movie with the hubby and kids and enjoy the pretzels only to find the most disgusting, old, smelliest pretzels I have ever seen and tasted in my life fortunately for my kids I took the first bite and puked it out instantly. If that wasn't dissipppointing enough I tried laying a complaint on the shoprite website typed it all out with pictures of the (R50) soleo pretzels and the slip the complaint wouldn't go through. I then phoned the malmesbury branch and I was told the manager is on leave and asked for someone who is in charge and was told that they are never in office or avaible and that I can leave a message and my number I did so but not before explaining why I needed to speak with the manager. After hearing WHT I had to say the employee (in auww) then stated that the product should not have been on the shelf seeing that it was past its shelf date and I could just bring it back for a refund but I told her I don't live that close by and have to use public transport to get there and I am only able to go once a week (Saturdays) she then said that the manager would be in contact regarding this matter. Fast forward to today (Wednesday). No one has contacted me regarding this.
The way staff treats patients is pathetic. Disgusting! Should be ashamed of themselves.
I opened a funeral cover with Clientele for my father that was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I was told by the agent named Booitumelo that the first 45 days are free and he would still be fully covered during the first 45 and payment will be deducted after that and she then told me debit has to go of on the 25th of the following month which was fine with me because it was after the 45 days. They did not only debit a payment of R313 but a Double payment R626 and this 25 days after I opened the funeral cover . to cut things short After numerous phone calls, emails and a whole lot of them messing me around Its been nearly a week and I still haven't received my money after I was promised it would be paid back into my account the next day All of this after I explained to Numerous agents i am currently unemployed and have to attend to my father and with this covid19 pandemic every cent helps so please don't make my life more difficult than it already is Booitumelo, Banele, Namsa, Daiekho and a other I was to upset to ask about her name. My sister is having problems with there clientele legal also they are debiting month after month the moment she needed them they said they can't help her but still want monthly payments
