Security gate installation was and still is an absolute disaster and frustration, with an ongoing saga for months, which, despite numerous re-assurances have still not all been addressed. I requested a quote, paid the deposit and was then convinced to change the design from sliding to swing gate. Total mess made by a sub-contractor. Clearing up of the mess was not effective and to my satisfaction. Deposit and final payments made as arranged, but I feel done in and will have to completely replace the gate and system.
Placed and payed for an order on 9 May 2020. Order Nr 34920 Order was confirmed and money accepted from credit card. For weeks the order was "in preparation" No reply to numerous e-mails. Suddenly the order was "cancelled" on website, but no communication from Leroy Merlin. No reply to e-mails, until one reply to state it will be forwarded to Thega Govender, who did not react. Several attempts at phone calls eventually reached him. He confirmed that the item was not in stock and promised in writing to get back to me the next Monday. Since then, several e-mails have been ignored. Three months later and I do not have the item, nor my money back and no replies to multiple e-mails to the correct addresses. I have indicated in writing NOT to contact me on my cellphone.
