I live in an estate of 11 villas in Bryanston. The levies are R6800 per month. These levies are monthly and due on the first of the month. Periodically I have paid the levies on or around the 10th of the month (9 days later than they are due) Trafalgar then promptly charge R600 relating the opening of debt collection files and receipting fees (10% of the levies) when the account is not technically in arrears until one month has passed. They are abusing the loopholes on the act which they say allows them to profit from the charging of these fees and have dared me to take them on with the debt collection council. This practice is unfair considering the high value of the levies charged by the home owners association and particularly that these high fees for only being 9 days late benefits trafalgar
Shocking experience. Rodney hides behind the bible sending scripture on WhatsApp, but took R200,000 from me in February And was all over me to pay. It’s now August and I’ve been ignored. Rodney doesn’t respond to enquiries when the installation takes place.
