Faulty Phone On the 24th July 2020, I took up a contract for the P40 lite phone for my sister, phone was in the box for a week since she was in a different location. Three days having started using the phone she notices that the volume down button didn't work, at first I took it lightly up until she also mentioned that the power button also started being faulty. Visited Empangeni Branch today to return the phone Consultant told me that from her observation customer is at fault I dropped the phone and broke it. But to my understanding if the damage was caused by being dropped phone should also be cracked. If I broke the phone I would have made other means to fix it. But now I know I am not at fault. I don't mind having the phone fixed and not getting a new replacement since phone is still within warranty, but I don't accept being told that I will have to pay for it to be fixed if the warehouse decides to not replace. Mind you I haven't even started paying for the contract and already I am frustrated of the service delivery.
