On the day that I purchased my dress, I made an appointment for 6 weeks before the wedding day to go back and fit the dress in order to make alterations. On the day of the alterations appointment I called Bride and Co Rivonia at least 10 times to find out what I needed to bring to make sure. No-one picked up the phone. When I arrived, with my dress in hand, I was abruptly 'welcomed' by the incredibly rude receptionist/ manager Daniel, I believe his name is. When I explained that I tried to call to find out what I needed to bring and no-one picked up the phone, I could see the phone was ringing at his desk and no-one was picking it up.... incase you too are trying to get ahold of them. After my fitting, I was chatting to the rude manager about prices of alterations as they are set extremely high, which is not explained to you when you buy the dress (otherwise perhaps ladies could decide to buy dresses with minimal changes to be made), I watched a staff member take my dress, out of the bag and drag it to a change room, put it up and get it ready for someone else to try on.... Keep in mind, this is a dress I have already paid for and now own. The manager defended his staff and offered no apology. I will NEVER suggest Bride and Co to a single lady looking for a dress. The manager has to be one of the rudest people I have had the displeasure of dealing with and he made the situation so much worse than it had to be. In this industry, dealing with people living through a very exciting yet stressful time in life, you need people that are patient and understanding not disgustingly rude and condescending. An apology would have gone a long way. I took my dress home with me and will be having the alterations done elsewhere so I that I know my dress isn't being resold, tried on, used as a mop.....
I have phoned a number of times today, each person I speak to tells me they are an intern and have no information to help me. Each time I ask to speak to someone in the exam office or a manager I am told that they have left for the day, or their manager is not available until further notice and does not have an extension to transfer the call to and they don't know their email address. When I ask for the name of the person I am on the call with, they hang up. Rebecca is the only name I was provided, if I was even given a correct name. I am trying to obtain simple information from them and they are simply not willing to help me, I am having to resort to complaining in the hopes of receiving ANY help. I will continue to shed light on how bad the service is until I am helped.
I received incredible service that was unexpected as I have not had great experiences with car dealerships in the past. My experience with the Midstream branch, from trading in my car to buying the car I came through to see - was nothing short of exceptional. I received fast, efficient service with the biggest smiles and welcoming embrace. The ladies that helped me from the admin side, Letang Matsebe and Sadia Khan made me feel so relaxed in a situation that leaves others feeling rather stressed. Both ladies made sure to leave no box unchecked, patiently guiding me through the process as this was my first car purchase in my name. Each step was patiently explained to me with so many laughs in-between making me feel right at home, I will never forget either of these ladies for making me feel so special throughout the process. I am not sure how many other people are able to say that applying for a new car was an experience that left them not wanting to leave as the staff honestly make you feel like you are apart of a big happy family. Then there is the sales executive, Victor Da Silva. I couldn't be more appreciative of the service I received from such a genuinely nice person. Victor went above and beyond to make sure that I left with the car I wanted. Even though there were many obstacles, such as the car being on hold, I felt at ease knowing that Victor was on point at each and every turn. He even worked straight through lunch to make sure that I was the next person on the list and the car would be mine. Each email, message and question was welcomed with a great response, patience and an unwavering positivity that left me with zero anxiety. If I had any say - he would be employee of the year. I would recommend absolutely anybody and everybody to visit We Buy Cars Midstream as I know with cer*****y that even if you don't find the car you are looking for (which is unlikely) you will most definitely leave with a huge smile on your face feeling grateful that you met the staff that work there. Thank you for an amazing experience from start to end - I will forever be grateful.
