These guys are ****mers 110%. I was told they got my account cause they "purchased the company" and asked if they could close my account, which I told them to do because I already had a cartridge supplier. A couple of weeks later in May 2022, I received a package of 4 cartridges via courier to the amount of just over R4,000. I eventually found their "order confirmation" / "invoice" in my spam folder. I contacted the cell number provided and told them I did not order this and that they must collect it. For months I got no communication whatsoever. Out of the blue in August 2022 I get a call from lawyers saying it's now a legal matter. I then sent an SMS to the 2 numbers that were provided on the "invoice" advising them that if they did not collect the cartridges I would involve my lawyers. A month later someone came to collect the cartridges and I thought that was the end. Now, in May 2023, roughly 8-9 months after they collected the cartridges I got another phone call from a law firm to say it's not dealt with. They don't provide any email addresses, telephone numbers, or an address. They just send out "orders" and demand payment. Judging by the reviews I've seen I can clearly see that is their "business model". Once again I say, they are ****MERS 110%!
I have not had internet since the 10th of November 2020. I have phoned almost EVERY SINGLE DAY, and even went to the Telkom branch at Centurion Mall. I have spent countless frustrating hours on the phone. I was told yesterday that I cannot be issued a username and password to reconfigure the router because I have an "outstanding balance of R15.00", but when I was forwarded to the billings department they said that shouldn't be the case because they only freeze it when there is more than R50.00 owing. I have had my account with Telkom for 27 years and it seems it is about time for me to change service providers. I am currently paying for a service that I can't even use. I constantly get bounced from one department to the other and it just seems like no one has a clue as to what to do to resolve the situation! I am highly disappointed!
