My customer experience with MWEB has been absolutely horrible, from poor communication to taking ages to fulfil an order, to being sent from pillar to post to get answers, inability to get decent service from their infrastructure providers, expecting me to call and call and call to follow up on status. (Not once have I actually received feedback from MWEB without calling is myself - I have called them at 20 times in the past 3 week and that is conservative) They have had it all, now I have cancelled my service completely and they cant even do that right. Now I have a fibre line in LIMBO being held my MWEB and I cannot move ISP's (Releasing a line with AfriHost took literally 5 minutes on the same call - Mweb its been days with no feedback). If I could rate this -5 I would. I understand that customer service can be difficult but this ranks as bad as previous experiences with TELKOM ADSL. Honestly I didnt think customer service could reach those sorts of levels but apparently it can. I will never use MWEB for any service even if I was paid to do so, its just not worth the pain.
My experiences so far (Since CrystalWeb became EvoNet) with EvoNet are amazing, super solid line, if I forget to pay they switch me off and if I pay the line is active within 10 minutes. Also if I need support they respond in under 10 minutes for emails sent to their support email address. Also when I upgraded my line it was super simple and they communicated well and advised me accordingly. This company needs to continue promoting Service excellence as I will never choose to change my ISP if the service remains as on point as my current experiences have been so far.
