I arrived at the Medi-Clinic in tears after having a terrible experience at another medical service provider in the area. Monique Visser was on duty at reception and not only was genuinely concerned, but helped to solve my immediate problem as well as suggesting alternative providers of the medical service I was looking for, and gave me clear, concise directions to my next destination because I was unfamiliar with the area. She really embodied the idea of Customer Service as opposed to the \it's not my job"attitude seen elsewhere."""
Today was a bad day in a bad month. When I walked through the door of the Book Lounge I was greeted in a friendly and genuine manner. The staff were not only polite, they were exceedingly helpful and went the extra step to not only help me source a book that isn't in stock, but also made me an iced coffee which isn't on their menu because they could see I was having a bad day. I wish there were more book stores like this.
