Card tapping function
I have been I client of absa since I was a child. I have never had any major issues with their service. Now with this card tapping function I have a huge issue. I tapped my card at clicks,wimpy and other shops and the payment went through without me putting in my pin. There are no safety precautions. So if my wallet is stolen this person can go on an unhindered shopping spree until I cancel my card. I was never contacted by a consultant of absa whether I want this function on my card it was just added. Now it is my responsibility to go into an absa branch to have it removed as it can not be done telephonically. I spent quite a long time in the queue only to get to the front and be informed that they they are offline again.
