I paid for a key in full, it's been more than a month and it's excuses after excuses, the 1st excuse was an employee broke his hand, after a few weeks and still no keys Tanja viljoen the Co owner gave me an excuse again but she forgot she already used the same excuse weeks before , so yet again another person who should set my key broke his hand also, she lies all the time and make excuses, she told me they don't do refunds after I asked for my money back, but I recieved nothing and have never even seen her or any employees so I'm not asking for a refund, she took my money and gave me no key or service so it's not technically a refund as I recieved nothing to return for a refund, in my opinion it's theft, I've been at their house but kids was send out to tell me to wait they are on their way, no body knew I was coming so I assume that message gets told to anyone who comes to their adress looking for Tanja viljoen, when I contacted tevv automove quote was send, banking details was send and payment was done, it looked like a trustworthy company, but it's lies after lies after lies, some days I called more than 25 times with no answer, the 1st day she started with the lies and not answering her phone her excuse a day later was that she forgot her cell phone at home, they only have that 1 number listed for the business but it's left at the house for a whole business day not communicating with any clients.

It started on the 17th of August 2021. The dealership I bought my car through needed to provide me with a spare key and advised they will organize it through TEVV Automotive. They came out, got the details and by the 2nd of September 2021, I had an unfinished (not programmed key) that was cut incorrectly as well. From that moment on, it was supplier issues and all other excuses to get the key sorted out. On the 23rd of January 2023, I was advised that the supplier provided a key casing but not a complete key and they were unable to assist. TEVV advised that they would refund me. After weekly prompting to please refund me, even if do a weekly/monthly payment plan, I received the most unprofessional message I have ever seen. On the 8th of April 2023, I was sent a very snarky message, obviously sick of me pestering them for the money, the dealership already paid them for MY spare key, advising me that they owe me nothing as I am not their client, it is not my money but the dealerships, so I can speak to them. I was also advised that they already spent money on me coming out to my premises (Which they advertise as a service to their clients) and left me with an incomplete key, and according to them, this was sufficient. As I was recording a voice message I was advised that they will not listen and are blocking me. So far the other 2 reviews are 100% accurate as my experience over 1year and 8 months of waiting for a key was basically the same. TEVV Automotive is the most unprofessional company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They never answer their phones, never deliver what they promised, and will turn on you the second you start complaining about things. And the way that they just block you and "pass the buck" was shocking, to say the least. My advice, find another key maker, the wait, effort, hassle, and frustration is not worth the little bit that they may be cheaper. I understand personal issues and accidents, and I sympathize, that is why it took me so long to start demanding a refund. However, when this becomes the "Go-to' excuse it highlights their unwillingness to communicate properly (not taking a phone call to talk things out and sort it out immediately) and take responsibility for the service they are offering, which led me to point of demanding and not asking anymore. Unfortunately, all that got me was getting blocked and them the review they deserve.

Paid TEVV a deposit for a new key for my car in March 2021. In June 2021 they informed me that they could not get me the key and would refund my deposit. After many promises they still have not repaid my deposit. Be careful dealing with them!!!!
