We tried to come here for breakfast, but never even got as far as trying the food. After failing to get through via telephone to see if we could make a booking, we drove through to Greenpoint. We waited in line for a good half hour to be seated and scanned the QR code to fill out the online form as instructed only to be told at the takeout counter that sit-down was not an option even though there were other sit-down customers and a table had opened up as someone had just left. We were excited to try the food as it looked good, but this experience left a bad taste in our mouths, so we won't be back. You'd think that with having had to close down their other branch they'd actually want to keep customers...apparently not.
If I could rate 0 stars, I would. NEVER, and I mean NEVER order a laptop from this place. I spent near R20 000 on a gaming laptop, only for it to give up the ghost a little over 4 months in. I cared for it properly and never did anything to warrant it failing within such a short period of time. The website claimed that the laptop had a 3-year warranty, yet Evetech didn't want to take responsibility when I contacted them. They instead referred me to another company, who also refused to do anything and referred me somewhere else yet again. It has been over a week since I lodged my initial complaint and it seems like no one is going to help me. Evetech is a joke and you should never give them your money under any circumstances because they WILL sell you a piece of trash and refuse to help you when it breaks.
