Based on recent customer reviews, this business delivers a consistently strong customer experience anchored by outstanding agent quality and rapid communication. Customers frequently name individual consultants and praise their friendliness, patience, and professionalism. Recurring praise is given to claims and roadside assistance, though a vocal minority report frustrating delays, rejected claims, and poor transparency around premium increases.

This was not my first purchase from Evetech, but it was the first time I experienced a product failure and had to deal with a warranty issue. A few weeks ago, I purchased a PC built to my specifications at a very competitive price. It worked perfectly at first, but recently it failed to start properly. I tried everything on my side to resolve the issue, but without success, and had to return it to Evetech for assistance. I explained that I urgently needed the PC to continue with my work, which was already behind schedule — the very reason I upgraded in the first place. The team immediately booked it in, and within an hour I received a message confirming that the PC had been repaired. I also requested to speak directly with the technician who worked on it to understand the cause and how to prevent a recurrence. He was friendly, professional, and willing to discuss the issue openly. Thank you to the team for the quick turnaround and for enabling me to get back to my work without further delay.

I’ve been a loyal Evetech customer for 9 years, and this is by far the most disappointing experience I’ve had with them. I ordered and paid for a brand new SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 on 10th December 2025 for both work and gaming. Instead of a new product, I received a used unit. After some back and forth, Evetech eventually sent me a replacement on 19 December 2025 (already a major inconvenience). I was on leave until 19th January 2026, so I only had the chance to properly test the replacement then. Immediately, I noticed the below issues: - The audio would cut out randomly on both PC and console - especially when playing a fast paced game (almost as if the headset couldn’t keep up). - Mic volume was extremely low. My colleagues on Teams calls could barely hear me. This is clearly not normal behaviour for a headset. I performed my own troubleshooting: - Tested on USB A and C ports. - Used a longer cable (away from the device so less interference). - Factory reset. - Tested on Windows, Linux, Nintendo Switch, PS5. The issues persisted despite the above. I logged an RMA, sent the unit back, and Evetech received it on 29th January 2026. After two and a half weeks of “testing,” they claimed no faults were found and returned the headset to me on the 16th Feb 2026. Within 30 minutes of testing it myself, the exact same issues occurred again. To make matters worse, the headset was returned dirty and with light scratches on one of the earcups. At this point, I effectively have a R2800 paperweight (plus the cost of accessories), since I can’t use it for gaming due to audio dropouts, nor for work because the mic is unusually soft. To make matters worse, I sent their support another mail yesterday and they want me to send the unit back for more “testing”. I want a replacement unit! If this does not get resolved it will be the straw that broke the Camel’s back for me and I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

Shocking delivery services with Rhenus for very high prices compared to any other courier in SA. It does not help complaining to Evetech, as they just don't seem to care at all. They charged me R226 shipping and R208 insurance for sub par courier services on a small box containing a motherboard, processor and memory costing R22k. I pay R99 a month for free delivery on ANY order from TAlot. What a ******* these guys are.

False adverti*****t from evetech. According to the ad on their website a workstation pc with a RTX 2000 Pro gpu comes with an adapter. Pc gets delivered and no adapter or GPU box to be seen. Phoned them and they told me it doesn't come with a adapter, but my previous workstation did come with an adapter. Said they would order a mini display to display port adapter, still haven't heard back. Really disappointing from evetech why advertise something you are not able to provide?!

bought a Lenovo laptop from evetech last week thursday, and it arrived monday morning early during the day. Keep in mind, im in cape town and not jhb. So i got my product, no damage whatsoever, and the courier that i ordered from delivered my product during the weekend to the cape town wear house which was unexpected, so props to gearup couriers for that. I got into contact with evetech over instagram and they updated me regularly there. Honestly when looking at reviews, keep in mind that people are more likely to write a negative review over a positive review. I nearly didnt buy from evetech but had a ton of people tell me they are a lot better then they seem. So i took the risk and am not regretting it.

I bought from Evetech 3 times now and device failure rate is 4. I bought a PC upgrade kit. Motherboard was dead on arrival. It took 2 weeks and lots of frustrations to resolve. Power supply failed about a month later, replace in 2 weeks. The replacement power supply failed again about 3 months later. Yesterday I bought a new VERY expensive laptop only to again have a dead-on arrival laptop - Let's how long this will take!! Evetech is cheap, but I think their after sales if horrific and I also think their Quality checks is non-existent. Personally, will never buy from them again.

I ordered one of the latest MSI laptops, only to find out that the touchpad is defective. Now I have to go through a whole process to receive a resolution. I'm very disappointed.
