Evetech Solutions
Based on recent customer reviews, Evetech Solutions receives sharply divided feedback. Customers consistently mention competitive pricing and helpful in-store technicians, with several praising quick warranty turnarounds and professional sales staff. However, a recurring theme is dissatisfaction with the courier partner Rhenus, with customers reporting delayed, damaged, or misrouted deliveries. Many shoppers describe frustrating warranty and RMA experiences, citing repeated hardware failures, dead-on-arrival components, and disputes over fault attribution. Communication gaps, slow refunds, and policy-driven responses to complex issues also feature prominently in negative accounts.

Would STRONGLY advise Evetech to change their courier service. Laptop keeps Bootlooping and sent it in for Warranty. The courier company Delivered someone's carpart to the Technician to fix the laptop. Laptop was delivered at someone else's location. They have advised they will fix this by retrieving my package. Been waiting this whole week and it still hasn't been done. They also picked up the package on the wrong date. They don't pick up their phones and driver eventaully called to ask me if I sent a car part. Don't think anyone will be happy if their product is delivered and sitting at someone else's place for the whole week. I would recommend others to go with Wootware or another company that can actaully send and retrieve items. As a honest review I havn't had issues with Evetech themselfs it's the couriers they use that's really bad. Don't feel safe with sending products through them.

Evetech engage in blatantly false advertising. On their site the currently list a chair as coming with two pillows. It is stated clearly in the marketing, found here https://www.evetech.co.za/noblechairs-hero-st-gaming-chair-black-edition/best-deal/15511?ref=search. When queried about this, they say that it does not. So why then does the listing say that it does. Similarly, when I purchased a Vertagear PL6000 from them in 2020 the advertising copy of the listing mentioned that the frame comes with a 10 year warranty. They are now saying that the chair only comes with a 1 year local warranty and if I wish to proceed with a frame claim I must do so directly with Vertagear, an international company, at my own expense! They are dishonest and do not care about their customers. I have lodged a formal complaint with the National Consumer Commission, hopefully these ******* get what is coming to them.

I bought and paid for a laptop I never received. Twenty days later, I'm still battling to get my refund from them. If I could give zero or minus stars, I would do that in a heartbeat.

Evetech does not seem to care that their 1-star rating is sitting at 58%. I have now had multiple issues with deliveries from Rhenus Logistics. They either take weeks to deliver or with my latest delivery it was sent to Port Alfred when I'm in Pretoria and my address with Evetech has never changed. And every single time this courier is used the packaging containing very fragile equipment is damaged. When you contact Evetech about this issue it does not seem like they care at all and you never get any feedback. I will not use Evetech again unless I'm really desperate and only if I can collect the package from their stores.

Great deals but super **** delivery. Also promise free delivery through app. But on check out its paid delivery that takes forever. Also buy lots of airtime for the office numbers because you will be on hold for a long time. Really like this company but their customer service is falling way behind lately. Rather go buy in store and ask if they have stock. Product returns are also not a problem.

This was not my first purchase from Evetech, but it was the first time I experienced a product failure and had to deal with a warranty issue. A few weeks ago, I purchased a PC built to my specifications at a very competitive price. It worked perfectly at first, but recently it failed to start properly. I tried everything on my side to resolve the issue, but without success, and had to return it to Evetech for assistance. I explained that I urgently needed the PC to continue with my work, which was already behind schedule — the very reason I upgraded in the first place. The team immediately booked it in, and within an hour I received a message confirming that the PC had been repaired. I also requested to speak directly with the technician who worked on it to understand the cause and how to prevent a recurrence. He was friendly, professional, and willing to discuss the issue openly. Thank you to the team for the quick turnaround and for enabling me to get back to my work without further delay.

I’ve been a loyal Evetech customer for 9 years, and this is by far the most disappointing experience I’ve had with them. I ordered and paid for a brand new SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 on 10th December 2025 for both work and gaming. Instead of a new product, I received a used unit. After some back and forth, Evetech eventually sent me a replacement on 19 December 2025 (already a major inconvenience). I was on leave until 19th January 2026, so I only had the chance to properly test the replacement then. Immediately, I noticed the below issues: - The audio would cut out randomly on both PC and console - especially when playing a fast paced game (almost as if the headset couldn’t keep up). - Mic volume was extremely low. My colleagues on Teams calls could barely hear me. This is clearly not normal behaviour for a headset. I performed my own troubleshooting: - Tested on USB A and C ports. - Used a longer cable (away from the device so less interference). - Factory reset. - Tested on Windows, Linux, Nintendo Switch, PS5. The issues persisted despite the above. I logged an RMA, sent the unit back, and Evetech received it on 29th January 2026. After two and a half weeks of “testing,” they claimed no faults were found and returned the headset to me on the 16th Feb 2026. Within 30 minutes of testing it myself, the exact same issues occurred again. To make matters worse, the headset was returned dirty and with light scratches on one of the earcups. At this point, I effectively have a R2800 paperweight (plus the cost of accessories), since I can’t use it for gaming due to audio dropouts, nor for work because the mic is unusually soft. To make matters worse, I sent their support another mail yesterday and they want me to send the unit back for more “testing”. I want a replacement unit! If this does not get resolved it will be the straw that broke the Camel’s back for me and I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.
