I have logged a death claim for my deceased father ages ago with Momentum, I have been in contact with momentum death claims administrators since March 2022 up until now we have not been paid as the beneficiaries. I have been calling every single day, sending emails, leaving messages for the administrator to call me back but till today nothing has happened. I have escalated the matter to FAIS ombudsman as I am disappointed with the service I am receiving from such a big financial service company. I called again today and I was told the claim is still outstanding ''trustees resolution'' again for the 100th time!!! I have been getting this excuse for the past months!!! Is there anyone even trying to get this trustees resolution from the trustees? How long does it get you to get the trustees resolution? A year maybe? My father passed away 2 yrs ago (2020) All momentum did was our lives a nightmare.
Do not rent from Parklands Letting!!! These people are crooks and it looks like they have been getting away with their dirty work, Ashley the maintenance lady is the worst, they look for every excuse for holding up your deposit when exiting. I will be taking legal action against them, we have left the apartment clean and painted their filthy walls that were molded and now they are looking for every little detail and saying they will need to paint again because the walls are patchy and not neat after we have done everything we could to make sure the place is clean and painted. I’m not letting this go, they will pay my deposit back in full.
