Whilst it is one's right to complain, it is also one's duty to commend service excellence. Dental visits in many instances conjure up thoughts of pain and fear, but with my visits to HAPPY TOOTH EMPORIUM in Goodwood there was no pain and all that I experienced was friendly professional service not only from Dr Mahomed, but also the rest of the team including reception, dental assistant as well as the cleaning lady in charge of keeping the rooms spotless and Covid free. From the first consultation followed by X-rays, extractions, fitting of immediate partial dentures, cleaning/polishing and fillings, I was kept fully informed each and every step of the way and not once during the process did I feel any pain or had any doubts and as far as cost is concerned, their tariffs are very reasonable. I would like to give Dr. Mahomed and his team a 10 star rating but will unfortunately have to settle for 5 as per the Helloper rating model. Seeing the happy faces of little toddlers after their first visit or coming back for a second one truly lives out the HAPPY TOOTH promise. Well done.
In 2012 I bought a 1kg Silver Manadela coin for R18,000 from the Tygervalley branch of the Scoinshop after being advised by the sales person that it was a very limited edition of only 5000 and that because of its rarity it would be extremely collectable and much sought after and that the value would increase considerably in the future and that the company would be willing to buy it back from me when I wanted to sell it. Well when I decided to do so about 2 weeks ago I was subjected to excuses of not buying silver now, financial year end etc. but that they would help me to find a buyer as they would not be interested in doing so themselves. I dealt with 2 staff members at Somerset mall namely Cindy and Luciano and when after being repeatedly stalled and lied to I eventually managed to get hold of their regional manager Russel Perry who promised to investigate and revert to me today Monday 5 October which he did. That is unfortunately the only positive in my experience thus far because his telephonic rambling excuses was clearly just spewing forth what he has been trained to do. Fortunately he did however provide written information via email that exposes the Scoinshop scam with regard to so called valuable collectors coins. He informed me that the company would be willing to indeed buy back the coin for the princely amount of R14,000 ( current SA price for silver = R12,700 per kg.... ) as that would allow them to still make a profit within their margins..........!!!! In the next sentence he informs me that they sold a similar coin a month ago for R27,000 and he advised me to advertise it on the internet...... One of his staff told me that they would be willing to help me find a buyer and I would in fact have been willing to pay a reasonable commission fee but according to Russel Cindy provided me with incorrect information.. My advice to anyone considering buying coins from them is to first check on Hellopeter to see the true horror of the scam and alternatively before buying, calling them pretending to own the coin in question and wanting to sell as that would quickly expose the fact that once bought you are stuck with it because when selling, they inflate the price sky high with promises of rarity and this pushes the price way beyond the actual gold or silver content price of the coin resulting in being stuck with it. Avoid buying anything from them because you will burn your fingers !!!!!
