If you want insurance that makes things as simple as possible (just upload docs/photos to their app) then Naked is THE BEST! Honestly the amount of time I don’t have to waste on admin alone makes them worth it, but they also have some of the best rates I’ve seen! Have logged two car related claims with them so far and both have gone seamlessly!
Looking for a delux and safe Gumtree or FB marketplace? Yaga is it. Because they hold your payment and only pay-out to the seller once you have received the item and confirm it is in the condition advertised. And the delivery method options are great: PUDO, postnet, paxi etc so you don't even have to interact with a human. This is useful especially for womxn in SA. Also their customer service/response to queries is impeccable. It's been a wonderful side hustle for me to sell things. And when I need a new thing I always check Yaga first - better for the planet!
Absolutely blown away by how seamless it was to claim for my windscreen to be replaced. All easy through the app, approved within a day, the next day the glassfitters came to ME and I paid less excess than I was expecting. Naked colour me impressed! They also mailed to check I was happy with the service. Top Notch for an insurance company with the lowest rates around.
This was an incredibly uncomfortable experience. A comment about my body weight was made in an unprofessional manner (my weight has never been brought up by a other single health care practitioner and I'm well within the normal range), I was rushed through the second half of the appointment and many of my questions remained unanswered as a result. The doctor, Dr Johan Reid, was not wearing a mask (Aug 2020, level 2) and told a very ***ist joke (may be relevant to say I am a woman much younger than him). The practice also required that payment be made in CASH, upfront which i found to be highly irregular. For clarity, this was the place I visited: https://www.capeheadacheclinic.co.za/ 16 Solway, Bellville, Cape Town, South Africa
This appointment left me feeling very uncomfortable, my body weight was commented on in an unprofessional manner (my weight has not been commented on by a single other health care practitioner and I'm well within the normal range), I felt rushed through the appointment and that some of my questions remained unanswered. The doctor, Dr Johan Reid, was NOT wearing a mask (Aug 2020, level 2) and at one point told a ***ist joke (perhaps useful to mention I am female). The practice also required payment in CASH upfront which seemed extremely irregular.
