I'm completely lost for words as I write this review with deep feelings of anger and frustration at how I'm treated. I ordered from Pick n Pay Mall of Africa through their so called "ASAP" service at 09:30 and delivery was estimated to be between 11:00-11:30. At 15:10, I decided to collect because there was no communication of the delay and only showed as "Waiting for Driver" on app. The worst part is the app doesn't offer a cancellation option and as I write this review, my plans are in complete ruins. The order I placed (#4003589731) shows the store as Mall of Africa but was informed when I got there that it was dispatched at Pick n Pay Benmore and then internal squabbles ensued. As I write this review, it's 17:32 and I'm still at Pick and Pay Mall of Africa waiting while they deliberate a solution. I suggested a solution that can work for all concerned by Pick n Pay Mall of Africa to provide me the items I purchased and they can in turn, do an internal inventory transfer with Benmore to replace the stock but this is proving hard because no one is putting the needs of the customer first. The Benmore supervisor (was told is Koketso) has failed in so many levels to be accountable and is very rude. She lacks communication skills and shouldn't be in the front line to be communicating with customers. This is complete disgrace for an establishment this size to not care of their customers.
In between converting to gas or remain on electricity, I went to the web and found a number of a number of gas installers. I happened to only contact Seke Gas Installation and from the first engagement, was happy with the welcoming voice of Ingrid Modipa. We arranged an official viewing to assess if we could convert most of our home to gas and rest is history. She was very professional, attentive and meets her obligations. Not to exclude her team (Michelle), they did a brilliant job of high quality and very satisfied with their services.
I had a misfortune of 2 accidents in a space of 2 months, an experience hopefully never to be relived. On the first incident, the insurance assessor suggested I use Panel Lab which was the best decision to use their services. From the day my vehicle was dropped off, up to the notification its ready for collection, I got daily updates on what was happening and pictures which is incredible. The quality of workmanship is also of high standard and my baby is looking brand new. I recommend them for anyone looking for exceptional service and impeccable quality in workmanship.
I had a pleasant conclusion to my dealings with Bidvest after the agent I spoke to (Tyrone) made the process so much bearable. He tried to retain my business and shared his personal experience but unfortunately my mind was made up and there was nothing more to salvage. The reason wasn't anything to do with bad service but rather misfortune situation where cover deemed surplas to requirements.
The lady that assisted me (Martha) was very efficient and friendly to register my claim. She even took the onus to link up with the Towing department after failed attempts to reach them but the rest of experience was torturous to say the least.
