I bought a Hyundai I20 from Flawless Cars Selby in Johannesburg on 20 June 2025. I over paid by R5000.00 and I was informed that the refund will be processed the following week in June 2025. We are already in July, almost a month after the payment and I still have not received my refund. I had to keep calling the office and the salesperson Lisa and there is sometimes no answer or no communication. I ended up going back to their offices and I was told that I needed to complete some refund form from head office in Cape Town. The forms finally arrived on the 4th of July and I returned the completed forms with supporting documents on the same day. I was then informed that the refund will be paid within 7-10 working days. Guess where we are now and still no refund. I have been calling almost every other day and no feedback even on emails. There is no contact number for the Cape Town Office anywhere even on the refund mail, so how the hell am I supposed to follow-up. I have called Lisa in Selby today and she said she will send the Cape Town number now but I still have not received it. I am overly annoyed at the unprofessionalism and treatment. I want my refund and cannot wait any longer.
Good day Last year I paid about R5k to BMW Dalpark to repair the drivetrain issue which was due to rats damaging some wires (I had visited an area where there were rats). Yesterday I had the same drivetrain notification coming up while driving and my car started loosing power. I then called the call centre and was advised to go to the next dealership. I went to BMW Dalpark and they booked my car at BMW Boksburg for a diagnosis. The agents called me and said the issue is due to a damaged wire around the engine due to rats. This was fixed last year and I do not have rats where I stay. The quote is abouf R11000 which I must pay from my pocket. My issue is why I am having the same problem which was fixed last year and I haven't been to where I was where there were rats last year? I am really not happy with this and cannot afford to pay this. Hence I have asked for the dealer to stop and not fix it. I am really considering taking the car back to BMW and changing the brand. Please assist.
