I must warn others about UIF Connect because I had a very bad experience with it. This business has a very ********* practice of getting clients to sign "no refund" contracts even though they are fully aware that the services will not be provided. In good faith, I paid for the service, believing they would stick to their end of the bargain. But subsequently they didn't provide the agreed-upon service. They refused to give me any information or issue a refund when I asked, stating simply that I had signed a no-refund contract. It's obvious that this business purposefully traps customers with the no-refund provision, takes their money and providing them with little value in exchange. This is a business strategy that preys on gullible clients, and I feel like I've been conned of money and time. Be advised if you're thinking about doing business with them that they are more concerned with keeping your money than fulfilling their commitments. I strongly advise avoiding this firm in order to save yourself from an unpleasant and expensive experience!
Horrible and very arrogant service I received from the day i signed the lease agreement with them, firstly i got to stay to the apartment i did not sign for and was told to pay a deposit of 10k, and my rental amount also was increased by R300, well i was desperate at the time and needed a place to stay ASAP I agreed- even thou the place was not in good condition and was promised that the owner will attend to it, guess what! i did not happen i stayed at the unit (Summer Mews) for a year and Im now fighting with them because they wont refund my deposit, apparently the bathroom window frame needs to be painted gosh i stayed there for a year found the paint like that i did not even had a curtain or blinds on. They are pictures taken when i moved in and moved out the window only appears on the move out pictures and not the move in once,I then called the portfolio Manager by the name of Robyn (A VERY RUDE LADY) to request the move in picture she told me they dont have it and if i also dont have it there is nothing they can do thats how they work ( I guess she was making clear that Protea does not give a sh*t i can go jump) All of this happened after sending 100 emails to them with zero reply. Please guys when you're looking for a place to stay check the reviews first before giving companies like this one your money.
