We had an accident on 13 December 2023. Miway was our insurance company at that time. It was a 3rd party claim, because someone drove into us, while we were stationary at a red traffic light. We had to pay the excess amount to the panel beaters who had repaired our vehicle, and according to Miway, they would then reimburse us with the money, because they would claim it from the other party's insurance company. It has been 10 months now, and we still have not received our money. I am tired of sending emails, and always having to call them, and they just don't respond, or give us answers, as to why we are still waiting for our money. Because of the bad service we have gotten from Miway, ever since the accident happened, we were forced to move to another insurer. Hopefully now, we will be paid back our money.

Ons moes noodgedwonge onder skuldberading gaan, a.g.v persoonlike redes, en sy het ons baie mooi gehelp, en ons die hele proses baie mooi verduidelik. Van hier af kan dinge net beter gaan. It has been more than a month that my vehicle has been with a panelbeating company. If we don't call Miway or the panelbeating company, we don't get feedback at all!!! I have been waiting for feedback from an assessor that was supposed to go and see why the panelbeaters are taking so long with our vehicle, and what the problems are, and almost a week later, no response from the insurance. I have sent them emails also, and they don't even bother to reply to any of my emails. The funny thing is, our accident is a third party claim, how long am I going to struggle to get my excess back, that I had to pay out of my pocket, if I am struggling like this now, only to get feedback, and to get my vehicle back!?

Our verhicle has been with them now for 4 weeks. On the 2nd week we went to go and see how far they are, because it was a minor repair, and just fitting of new parts. We found our vehicle standing on the pavement across the road, where anyone can just get in and take my car. They left all our parts in the car, including their sanding paper, and the dust from the body filler was everywhere. They do not give us updates or any feedback, we have to call them. They even told us, that we mustn't worry about the repairs so much, because the parts will cover it, and no one will see it. You would send emails, but they don't respond to it.They tampered with my dashcam, it records back and front. And every day they drove around with my car, as we picked up on our tracking unit trip reports. I would never recommend them to anyone. I can't believe that they are still on any of the insurance's panel. Very very bad service. What should have been a 2 week period, has turned into almost a full month now, and we are still battling to get our vehicle. They did not wait for the excess fee that we had to pay, why must I wait for something that is my property!!!
I have reported an internet outage in our area on Tuesday 25 July 2023 on the whatsapp chat. I immediatly got a response from Pelo, and my problem was escalated. I am very happy with the great and effictive service that I have received. Yesterday, 26 July, I received a phone call with an update on the matter. The fact that there is communication with the customer from Home Connect's side is very satisfying. Thank you for the good service, keep it up. Lynette van der Merwe.
Dennedal Gastehuis sal nooit so gelukkig wees dat ek van hulle dienste gebruik maak nie. Die eienaarres is verskriklik onbeskof, my skoonouers het verblyf by hulle bespreek vir n troue wat in Mei sou plaasvind, en a.g.v Covid kon dit nie gebeur nie. Na n lang geveg het die eienaar van die plek hulle geld toe terug betaal. Sy vloek en skree op mens as dit waag om haar te bel. Kan nie glo sy lewer n diens aan publiek nie.
